the game has great potential but there are problems. I am giving this game a thumbs up for its potential not for current gameplay. I hope the developer realises this game could be great and listens to reviewes. 1. training does not seem to be helpfull as when i trained my players got worse instead of improving 2. i played a total of 20 matches and lost every one of them i think its broke does not seem like you can win as i have seen other reviews say the same thing. 3. oposing team players alway fesh while mine alwayse seem to be fatigued. 4. does not seem like you can make any money in game as i went bankrupt before end of season paying salaries of 20000 to 50000 per player 250000 per month and making only 4000 per loss 20000 to 40000 per month. go bankrupt easily.

I love this game. Just a few ideas (This is from FPS experience only) -Add stats that show how your team does on each map -Allow the chance to import your own pictures as your team profile -Fix the Catwalk glitch from ct on Dust 2 -Imporve graphics and Bug fixes Lastly please port to MAC, I love this game and I use a MAC on the go... this would be perfect for me to play when im not on my pc. Please look into porting to MAC, thankyou! edit.) The devs just added stats for your team on each map, plus they ported the game to MAC. The game is 100% the best Esports manager on the market atm and they have already made good progress in the right direction. Keep up the good work.

ESports Club is one of those games that has been in Early Access for a while yet is VERY barebones. Only two game modes exist: MOBA and FPS. I'm sure more can be added via modding but Steam Workshop and the efforts of the modding community shouldn't have to compensate for the game's lack of content. MOBA mode involves you managing a team for a fictional League of Legends clone with similarly uninspired and ambiguous hero designs that tell us nothing about what that hero actually does. Also, despite there being a counter for boss mobs killed, not a single one exist in MOBA matches and matches purely become a gank fest. I'm not making this up! FPS mode is basically a management sim for a fictional CounterStrike clone, with dedicated roles. I'm not very knowledgeable on FPS but this one seems a bit more fleshed out than the MOBA mode. Victory conditions and strategies are simple, barebones and boil down to little more than subtle stat checks. Stats determine the success/failure rates of certain actions in a match. If your players have bad stats, they will generally play badly. Skills you teach players which they can randomly use in matches also make the game boil down to little more than rock-paper-scissors. i.e. Burst counters Melee. Melee counters Ranged. Ranged counters Burst. The translation work is shoddy in some parts, with some broken English and even more headings that are still in Chinese. It's also amusing to see that the translators managed to absolutely nail city and town names in each country and playable region, yet you still see a huge disconnect in the randomly generated player names. I've seen plenty of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc players with incredibly Western sounding names. The music is a loop of the same annoying two music tracks, depending on if you're in a match or in another menu. The worst part about this game is the tutorial. The secretary NPC speaks so slowly and her dialogue box moves at a snail's pace. The average person could read fifteen times faster than the scroll speed of that text. It's so unbearable that I actually switched off the tutorials very quickly, then found myself somewhat confused.

The game isnt finished, its fun for a few hours and if you are really feeling this type of game then you can get some fun out of it. I just cant recommend a clearly unfinished game. At least the price is about right though.

I think that this game has a lot of potential, though with it being in Early Access I would recommend waiting off until it has more features and certainly more balancing. (MOBA perspective only) Pros: - Each player has statistics that will impact how they will play in lane and team fights - Micromanaging player's training intensity and recovery is pretty important - Training is pretty core, as it helps you focus on the core stats that you want to improve Cons: - There is no in-match decision making, once you're in the match, you just have to wait til it's over - Laning phases are too stompy and easily devoured. You could lose first blood and this could end up with you being Lvl 1 as the enemy is nearing lvl 18 (Same goes if you get first blood) - Junglers don't gank as much when you put them on the Always setting for ganking - Players tend to overstay in lane even with less than 10% HP - Near the end game, players tend to just group up and run it down mid, and end up dying repeatedly at the enemy nexus Though the majority of these will be fixed or improved through out Early Access, I would recommend holding off from buying until it's more balanced

With all the downsides, it is still the most complete eSports game people ever made so far. February 27, 2022.

I've been waiting for this game for a while, and was a little let down. The game doesn't look great, it was clearly made for a 720p monitor. The style is cool, but without 1080p intended graphics, it doesn't look nice. The english translation is a bit broken, I highly suggest hiring a translator. The gameplay is confusing, and the tutorial was barely helpful. It doesn't explain that you actually lose stats if you train 50% (which doesn't make a ton of sense). It doesn't explain how to recover physical and mental state, which is also confusing. All in all, I really wanted this game to be great upon release, but it being early access, I hope it can grow to what I want it to be. Good luck devs, and I beleive in you.

(I have so far only played the fps verision of the game) If you're gonna judge this game, don't compare it to CSGO or PUBG or any other popular online game out there, compare it to the other "esport manager games out there, "pro gamer manager" etc. I have now had this game for about 1 week and can allready tell this is the best of those games out there by far. Unlike "pro gamer manager" where a lot of the things that you could buy didn't change anything. For instance you could buy a house, that didn't influense the game at all. In "esports Club" you can expand the gaming house, which would help the players during practise, endurance and morale etc. Another thing that I like about the game is that you can influense the matches, with in-game tactics, help the team buy and sub in and out players during B03 matches. Not too much though. As a coach for a team, you shouldn't have more impact than this. I also like the bench feature that you're able to bring in young talent for instance. There are more things that I like about the game, but I'm tierd so let you discovere it for yourself. Moving on to improvements, everything can get better and I'm not trying to hate on the game. Improvements: Bad relationships doesn't impact the team enough, just like lak of practise. In pro gaming, synergy and good comunication is keen to all success in esport, but it takes time to develope, it doesn't happen over a night. Maybe adding a scale of synergy, so that when you add a new player to the starting lineup it goes down to 0. However if you sub the other guy that had played previously the scale goes back to wherever it was before the change with the previous lineup. Adding a trading feature to the transferlist. Trading is very commun in esports, insteed of buying a player, you could therefore give one of you're players that you're trying to replace or one on the bench. based on how much the player is worth the prize is cut. For instance, if I'm buying a player for 8 million and I add one of my players into the transfer that is worth 6 million I would only have to pay 2 million. Surtant teams could want different things. One team could want a 3,5 star lurker in return, while one team doesn't care about it. (The CSGO mod) S1mple is the star player of navi, he's not even with Zues. The Asian top teams(and the african/eastern top teams) is not nearly as good as the top EU and NA teams. There's an easy way of solving this, look at the world ranking for both teams and players and base it of that. The best player in the world doesn't have to play for the best team in the world. I know the league format with spring and summer season is based on League of legends, but making the game feel unique for the fps players aswell is very important. The ESL pro league is a very small part of the CSGO esport community. It basically only qualifes you for the ESL pro league lan. What I'm trying to get to is that there are a lot of Tier 1 event during the year other than the majors. In this game you have a few Tier 2 events during the year other than the 2 "Big events", which is how it works in the League of legends community. Adding qualifiers for the "Tier 1 events", including the majors, could add to some smaller events aswell. However in order for this to works, you also need to add a world ranking system, so that the best teams in the world don't have to play the qualifiers. The easiest way of doing this is a point system, if you beat a team that is above you, you get points and if you lose to a team that is below you, you lose. You win way more points if you beat a team above you in the ranking than below you just like you lose a lot more points if you lose to a team below you than a team above. Let's say you're 51st in the world and you beat the 50th team in the world you won't get as much points as if you were to beat the 15th best team in world for instance. The points resets at the start of every year/season, donno what is best. Obiously the 10 best teams in the world from last year will start with a surtant amount of points so that the 90th best team in the world could start the season of by playing super bad teams and get like 1st because they played and won a lot of games at the start of the season. This could also be a factor in whether a player wants to join the team or not. The addition of B05. I don't know if it's a bug or whatever, because it says in the overview that you're gonna play a B05, I don't know if you can in the FPS version of the game, but please fix this, it adds a lot more intention to the game and makes it a lot more enjoyable. Please show your support and like the comment to promote the review to the creators of the game so that they can improve these things. Once again, I'm not hating on the game, I'm giving my general thoughts that could help the developers improve the game to make it able to compete with a game like "football manager" on the market.
Follow for more reviews & recommendations https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44970186/
It's like a football manager for gaming! love the live game feed so you can see your players moving around the map and what tactics they're doing, AI could probably be improved as a lot of rounds on the FPS side the players just stand there in a bunch and do nothing, Overall though a great game for £5 I am still yet to try the MOBA side of the game but i will update the guide when i do but it's probably near the same with a different style Plus side is that it's only in early access so hoping for lots of great updates to come!
