Not recommending the game so going to explain something. Game isn't SO bad, but it's very repetetive and after like 30 minutes I got bored.

I played the MOBA mode. This game doesn't tell you any info at all. None of the classes have any descriptions on what they do, or statistics on what their health, attack speed, attack damage, etc. The perks you buy have a lack of description because you don't know what perk should go with what class. If you just simulate the game, you lose 90% of the time. However, if you manually play it, just group 5 mid and run it down for an easy win. This game really missed the mark on the management aspect of the game

Bugs
- Can't reach requirements when maxed, because game scales requirements against current score
- Winning games gets counted as win, but "Social Media" thinks it's a loss so you have slow progression compared to requirements
- Players can block each other in lounge
- Losing got me more followers - contracts - money than winning everything...

Game just lacks too much content. There's no way to actually develop player stat. Sure you can buy skills but that's not really fun. You can't trade players, you're stuck with the same players as always, finance management is a joke in the game. To get them to raise up their energy is way too simple and doesnt really require time management. I like the concept but this just isn't it. You'd find better management games in random free browser games.

Mistakenly bought this thinking it was a different game. Gave it a go anyway but its just the same 1 task over and over again as the gameplay is so 1 dimensional. There is only losing at the start as it takes so long to get to a similar level as the other teams.

AI in the game is dull. You're team will just stand there and do nothing and get shot at. Pretty stupid. For some reason your team will loose so much GYM Time and Rest Time and Health Time just but looking around the stats and shopping etc.
Hopfully they do some touch ups and make the game good.
I would wait a few months.

ESport Manager wasn’t what I was hoping for. I get that enthusiast are probably the game’s target, but wouldn’t a measure of more accessibility to widen the potential audience be a good thing? I even have doubts that Esports aficionados will find this game particularly good, given the inferior accessibility. While the game packs a fair amount, the user interface and complete lack of touch screen support make it feel more like work, seriously weighing down the promise for something addictive. The idea has potential, but it needs to be handled with more care. A lot of potential but seems it has been abandoned, shame.

Before we jump into our ESport Manager review, let’s be real here. I dare you to find me an esports fan who has never dreamed of building (or at least joining) their own esports org. If nothing else the sheer amount of people with “esports org ceo” in their Twitter bio should give you an idea of how much of a market there is for the kind of escapist game that allows players to live out their esports fantasies. However, ESport Manager consistently falls short of providing an engaging or novel take on managing a team.
ESport Manager takes a good premise and manages to present a game with little to no redeeming qualities. You won’t find responsive gameplay, ease of use, rewarding strategy, or anything invoking the culture of Esports in this title.

Its a really unique idea for a game. Play as a FPS team or MOBO. Pretty polished.
Pro:
Concept. I don't think I've played a game quite like it before.
Not to much micro management of the team just click on each one and click the objects to meet their needs, food, sleep etc.
Lots of features like sponsors, media coverage, perks
The auto buying I would have put as a con but the higher the skill of the team the smarter decisions in buying items they'll make. I still wish they would change weapons to fit the perks assigned to them.
Tutorial. Pretty much explains everything you need to play the game minus a few items like the playroom, which just makes them happy. Its not a daycare for children LOL
The team building and upgrades are plenty. You can even control a player.
CONS:
Game music got old pretty quick.
Not so much a con but it would be nice to have some voices like taunts as they fight.
few bugs like auto speed to full when you start a match, and some players get stuck on each other. Little pathing work needed.
No steam achievements
In Auto buy the AI only buys grenades and smoke. You need to change the weapon types on your own.
More weapons would be nice
It would be nice to see AI shoot and scoot and cover each other but they don't really work as a team. That MAY come with higher skill levels of the team. In a few hours ive already noticed some smarter moves by the team.
Overall
A good game for the genre. 8/10

REREVIEWED 29/07:
I came back a month later hoping for something better. The Recycled MOBA system for CSGO? No thanks mate, I don't wanna choose a lane or perks when I'm picking a character, we NEED a stats system, and better AI, I just watched my sniper do the following:
Walk to middle checkpoint
get shot in back
walk 4 feet towards target
turn round
Walk to middle checkpoint
get shot in back
walk 4 feet towards target

This isn't good enough as I said earlier - I had really high hopes for this game. I love management sims and I love CSGO, but this is implemented so poorly. I wish I hadn't bought it. Don't buy it. Not even on sale unless you're in it for the MOBA management. Its stuffed with lame filler mechanics, and I really think it could have been done better.
I'd have even been happy with E-Sports manage DLC which came with a well made CSGO gametype.
eh fuck it. Can't win them all
INITIAL REVIEW 19/06:
love the idea, hate the way they did it.
It's very clear they made it for one game mode (MOBA) then couldn't be bothered to remake the game mechanics for CSGO, so you have perks for players. It doesn't feel like you can make any progress and become a good team, as its a coin toss as to whether you win. And forget about even tossing that coin unless all players have 100% Strength Hunger and Rest. Which is annoying af and feels like such a filler mechanic. If I wanted a life sim, I'd buy the sims. Feeding my ESport players isn't high on my agenda. Nor is selecting perks for FPS players. A stats system would work amazingly. A clearer way on how to progress would work amazingly.
I have such high hopes for this game. Please don't let us down.
Will be back to re-review in a few weeks.
