This addon is fantasic imo, the bounties are difficult yet rewarding (just because the target is using a corvette, dont think he cant kick your cruisers ass if not carefull) and the ultimate "prize" are the 3 new ships. They are both very well worth their rather massive price (around 100m credits) and although I have not unlocked the 3rd new ship that cannot be bought (no spoilers) I assume it will still be a good ship when I eventually acquire it. Overall for the small amount of money this dlc costs, I personally think it adds a fair amount to the game with some backstory to it too.

GREAT GAME, AND I HAVE RUN DOZENS OF MODS ON THIS WITH ALL STABLE !!! I RECOMMEND THIS SPACE SIM 3'RD PERSON TYPE GAME 100%, AND HOPE THEY KEEP CREATING EVAN MORE MODULES, AS WELL AS MAKE ALL SHIPS READY TO EDIT SO ONLY THE PLAYERS IS CHANGED... ALSO AN AUTO ADAPTER FOR OLD MODS FORM SPG2, AND OLDER WARLORDS MODS WOULD REALLY HELP BACKWARDS COMPATABILITY... I WOULD PAY 20$$$ TO PURCHASE THAT TOO...

I been tried most of day how to taken out second of final Bounties, I tried many way in normal way, skill changed, whole entire fleets, and this "Nick" seem don't die at all due bug crazy hull regen faster and more heal than final best weapon had to offer for rail gun from headquater reseached 3 level but that is little to none effect, at this point buying dlc only can't beat nick in normal mean, no matter what you do, even cheat, seem he can't die at all, so I don't recommend buy this dlc, main game to be sure, but not this dlc due cheating a.i. unless they plan to fix.

This DLC adds twelve more bounties, each stronger than the last, with the last three locked behind the preceding ones - you have to fight the first 9 of the Deadly Dozen (in any order) for no. 10 to show up, and then fight him for 11 to show up... you get the idea. The bounties themselves are nice and fun, for the most part. There is a sudden spike of difficulty - I noticed it around Ivy Bloom and had to change my approach for Nikita - that marks a focus away from engaging bounty targets individually towards attacking them with warfleets in tow. You WILL need Warfleets for the last two, because they have millions of HP. I have emptied the magazines of a Tzar class carrier at them and still had to wait several minutes for my turrets and the 70k+ fleet to pound them down into oblivion. I suppose you could call it a hard fight, but I actually liked the challenging individual opponents of the first nine bounties more. Your reward for going through all this is a VERY nice ship, the Deadly Perun, and potentially getting the blueprints to it, enabling you to use it for your fleets (better fleet point value for supercapital point than any other carrier, or dreadnaught for that matter. Not a HUGE difference, but nice). Supposedly there might be a warmaster involved in the other option, but I can't confirm this and can't really seeing it play out that way, story-wise. It seems more of a "here's some money" option, and by the time you can actually tackle the final few bounties, money will have long ceased to be of any use to yo, nevermind a measly few million. There are two other ships included in the DLC, buyable at HQ for the low low price of 110 million each. The Deadly Helios is an aggressive dreadnaught with a double hangar and weakish shields but excellent gun placement and a cool, unique look. Worth checking out. The Deadly Premonition is a completely overpowered carrier that is so ugly as to be downright offensive. Both are callbacks to ships from the previous game in the series. Overall, a nice chunk of content, nothing super major, but well-done and worth the price, especially if on sale.

I'll admit that the thing I enjoyed most about this DLC was that it provided me the funds needed to finish the main campaign and press on to Titans Return. It doesn't add much beyond additional bounties, a few ships, and a neat reward or two. However, it kept me invested in a rather repetitive game that I also happen to adore.

As of the patch on 24th of June the issues with the final boss has been resolved, and I can whole-heartedly recommend this DLC. A love-letter to the old fans of the series it reintroduces the Helios Dreadnought, Premonition Carrier and Dreadnought-turned-Carrier Perun - the former two being available for purchase at Concordia HQ and the later being rewarded after beating the final boss of the reintroduced Bounty Hunting-mechanic.

I am a simple man; I see "Helios Dreadnaught" and I click the buy button. The Legacy Premonition is also F'n HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE. As of this update I can't fully review the ships, but dear god the Bounty targets definitely provide a challenge. I'll honestly say that the ships are what makes this DLC worth it. Can't wait for LGM to release bigger DLC's for this game.

DEFINITELY a good dlc if you want to get whipped in this game. Allow me to explain: I play on the hardest difficulty (Extreme) so ymwv. I got about halfway through the 12 bounties added by this DLC, and when I reached the next one, about 2 before Nick, I got destroyed so quickly it was enough to make my head spin. The battle was glorious before I was destroyed, I never, and I rarely do, enjoyed getting my azz kicked so thoroughly....I need more like this...
