I'm not sure if I should do that to an indie dev by telling you this but... I paid like almost nothing for the game yet it's so buggy that it's not worth a penny.

Saw all the negative reviews about faulty controller support, bugs and and broken movement, then I saw that after some of the more popular reviews some patches had been made so i gave it a try anyways. Everything is still broken, dont waste your time with this please. Good thing that Steam allows refunds.

If I could vote neutral on a game I would on this one. There is a lot of potential here and it seems that the developers are still working on bugs here and there. Its a great concept but limited in a few ways. Running out of ammo constantly really sucks and this is clearly a game which inf ammo should be a thing. The game always starts in Russian, I can get it to English but it never saves this feature. A few times I couldn't tell if the game was slowed for dramatic effect of if it was actually dropping frame rate like crazy. Multiple times I died three times, then found myself at the last checkpoint with no character, no ability to move right and left however I could shoot. ESC grants two options. Quit Yes or No? Quiting doesn't take you back to the main menu, instead dropping you into WIndows.

It might not be a completed game, but it doesn't excuse the fact that it literally didn't even work. And when I say incomplete, I mean the controls don't work. 1/10 finish your game's controls before releasing.

2/10 I located Order No. 227 when browsing through new releases, as I often do, looking for titles with online co-op. When I initially added this game to my wishlist soon after release, there weren't many reviews available. I should've checked the reviews again before purchasing, as the negative player consensus has certainly become clear. However, I was tempted by the 84-cent sale price that this game has now dropped to on two separate occasions. I went ahead and picked it up, as looking at the simple gameplay made me believe it would be pretty hard to mess something like this up. How wrong could I be? A fair bit, it turns out. Order No. 227, for starters, always begins in Russian and requires a change in language setting if you're an English speaker like myself. For some reason it can't save this setting for you. I attempted to host a game for a friend and myself, only to find the system tremendously obtuse. There were certain menu buttons that didn't appear to do anything, and others that only became functional once other requirements were met. We were able to get in a game together finally, but perished very quickly. There was a bit of lag between us, despite the speed of our connections and the simplicity of the game. One issue that plagues not only the co-op experience but the single-player experience as well are invisible mines. There are visible mines in the game that the player can see, by paying attention to a small, red, blinking light. However, I often found myself blowing up spontaneously in the absence of any such mine. Although my co-op experiment was rather short-lived, I did attempt to see what the campaign was like in single-player. Not much better, as it turns out. I tried to begin the campaign on two occasions. On both, I reached a tall apartment complex in the third section of the game that requires the player to jump from a high floor to reach a raised platform on the far side. The jump requires you to build up speed and jump while running. Although I was able to execute this maneuver countless times prior to this section of the game, the jump would never take here. I would run my soldiers off the top of this apartment building into the abyss below, over and over again. Unfortunately, there is no save functionality in the game, so you'll need to start again from the beginning at this point. I wouldn't recommend it though. Please steer clear of this travesty of a game.

Broforce clone where you can change between several dudes. - You can NOT use the analog sticks, Fat minus since I hate the D-pad + Nice pixels and feels like an old game more than a retro + Multiplayer, awesome that its possible to coop in. Not tried that yet. + WW2 themed pixels LEARN RUSKI!! Odd thing is that you got to change the language to English each time you want to play. Disabled pixel dudes The controls are a bit wonky and quite often it feels it really does not react and you then die when you just try to do a normal jump. For me I give this game a thumbs up even if I HATE D-pad control. I never owned a Nintendo 8-bit system but I thought the D-pad on that console was quite good, I can´t say the same for theXbox360 controller, so perhaps for a Nintentdo 8-bit fan this would be perfect. But it has some good feel atmosphere to it. Invisible man Also even if you are dead you can still be in the game and shoot but you are dead according to the interface, seems like a bug and you have to restart the game to be able to play again. Odd design choices At one place you must use a pair of boots to be able to run and jump, Problem is that the boots are time limited and once the 5sec time for them has run out there is no other choice than to just jump to your death and restart ;( ( Perhaps this is not correct but I haven´t found any other solution to this at all). There fore I will give this game a thumbs down because I can´t enjoy it. Worse than: Broforce

This game was released over three years ago, yet release time to present complaints still persist. This is simply a reskinned Connect 2 game with no testing, fixes, etc applied to ensure a quality experience. Controls will respond sometimes yet not others. Hit detection is off and sometimes non-existent. All controls stopped working more than once. Somehow, this game runs like a dog for what it is even on a mid-range system. Avoid this game and anything associated with this developer. It's the typical cash grab asset flip / scam / reskin / abandonware trash all-too-common in the low price section of Steam's co-op/multiplayer/MMO listings.

-The checkpoint system is broken and not even working. -You get random respawns. -if you press A or anything else which isn't on the key bindings by default the game instantly crashes. Both on Controller and Keyboard. -The Sound option is bugged and you can't turn off the sound in the game. -If you would like to use enter to confirm an option it wil crash. -You randomly die in the game when nothing hits you. -Enemies respawn randomly or just jump off and kill themselfs. -They often came back and they went god mode making them unkillable. -In multiplayer if both of you are on the screen at the same time the game laggs out. -If you are both on the screen you can't jump because it's delayed to the point you'll just fall off. -The ammo system is broken so is the character system.

Unfinished game. When you press ESC, you will be simply asked to press Y or N to quit the game. There's no way to get back to the main menu, so in case of a game over, you have to restart the game entirely. Even worse: Whenever you accidentally hit Y ingame, it will simply close. Lots of invisible walls that aren't supposed to be there. Sometimes you throw grenades and they suddenly bounce of in the air in front of you and you kill yourself even though there isn't any obstacle. Happens especially at open doors. Basically, only the shotgun soldier is actually useful. He takes less damage and can take out (multiple) enemies quickly. Once a soldier does, the game just randomly switches to another one and simply irritates you. Some jumps are simply too difficult to time because the running speed is very high. You have 3 heroes, but usually you're running around with only 1 or 2 because one died at a jump. Sometimes the collisions of the plattforms are so bad that you simply can't jump off them and fall to your death. Whenever you start the game, the language is set to Russian. You can find books in the levels that tell you the story, but only in Russian. If you set the language to English, they won't even spawn. You can only place landmines directly below you in the tutorial. In the actual game, they'll usually drop through the ground and drop on the platform below yours. Useless in most missions. Sometimes when switching the soldier, you'll fall through the ground, too. Inevitable death. Wooden crates have more HP than enemies. Killed enemies drop coins, but I never found their purpose. Weapons have to be reloaded, but there's no manual reload button. Few other issues I already forgot about. Very unfortunate, because in its core, this game is really fun and has a good difficulty scaling. I like the art style, the soundtrack, the idea behind the game. It just wasn't executed well enough. 0.84€ are basically nothing, so it's worth giving a shot if you like Broforce and want to support an indie dev. Apparently it has a multiplayer mode, I haven't tested it though. Update: (!!!) I just played the game in Russian for fun. Not only are there diaries spread around the levels, but there are also additional message pop ups (e.g. your mission goals), a ranking system (unlocking achievements) and a prompt to restart the level when you're game over instead of only being able to close the game and restarting it from scratch. Do yourself a favor and don't change the language to English. You have the choice between not understanding a word and playing a broken game without any words to read, so give the Russian version a shot. Weird.

This game is literally broken. I am on the title screen and anytime I press the A button on my xbox 360 controller the game instantly crashes. Several other people report the same problem on the discussions for this game and the developer has not responded. Do not buy this broken game.
