tom thomson is THE PINNACLE american hero of all time in video gaming history i want to smear him in chunky peanut butter while he yells "BLASTOFF!!!" and "GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!" in my ear soft and tenderly as we slowly drift off into space with the star spangled banner playing in the background to set the mood

Emmet is THE rizzler, my boy gets on with April, has an affair with Deedee and then leaves for the older model, Maegan

The dialogue is hilarious, tons of different endings, and good diversity of options to choose throughout the game. Honestly it's damn near infinitely replayable and I love that quality in a game. Definitely worth the purchase.

60 Parsecs is the space themed successor to 60 seconds, where you have to gather as many resources from the space station in 60 seconds and survive the rigours of outer-space using the aforementioned resources, where the game will give you randomly chosen events to make decisions on. Now, off the bat, this game really doesn't have much gameplay, as it really only consists of resource management and clicking a few buttons, however it instead relies heavily on its texted based narrative and art style. I can say that does quite well in both of these aspects as there is plenty of dialogue that is original and quite funny. The art style is done exceptionally, as all the characters have a cartoonish look to them and each remain distinct as well as having there own personality. The music also adds a nice touch of flavour, whether your helping out a communist crew of dogs or surviving the harsh desert planet once ruled by cows. Now, where this game falls flat, is that it is a one trick pony. Despite there being tons of different events and accompanying dialogue to go along with them, you will soon start to get repeats of them, which won't be nearly as entertaining or amusing as the second time, or third, fourth, fifth....What this also means is that you'll soon figure out what event does what, and how to succeed in them, which again, gets boring quickly. The only reason I have so many hours in this game is to 100% it, which is an RNG fest. Overall, it's a fun game to play if you enjoy reading and the art style, not to mention that it's probably one of the better games in the text based game genres, but will soon get boring after you start to get more and more endings. Would recommend.

Very fun game, I love the artstyle and sound design. The general retro sci fi vibe is very appealing to me as a Fallout fanatic.

I cannot decide whether I like 60 Parsecs or 60 Seconds more. They are both fantastic games and they both are difficult games where you have to manage resources very well and make decisions that can end your run in a second. But this is what makes the game fun. Trying to fly through space and survive and decide where to go and who to trust makes this game a blast.
