I am a Cessna 208B First Officer currently flew in Papua, Indonesia. For this Add-on i thought the maker been done a pretty well job, some of parts needs to be operating such as Weather Radar, prop gov test, Gen trip, etc. not much & almost perfect. Well done!

Love these two planes (passenger and cargo models). Extra opening doors, optional cargo pod (as good as a 3rd plane) are another bonus with this package. Flies nicely. Sounds great. Even the lights work well. Very well done. I'm really glad i bought this plane.

Very good, once you get the hang of it. The plane comes with a checklist + reference sheet (Found in the DLC folder). You can even find some repaints on the Carenado website for the cargomaster version.

I’m very happy with this C208B. Much nicer than the stock 208s. All around this 208b is really nice from looks to flying. Only 3 passenger liveries and 1 cargo to choose from. I don’t count the all white one as a livery. Not exactly luxurious but fills the need for a small civilian transporter to ferry folk from one smallish airport to another. Fun to fly.

Nice update to the Caravan, but the RNAV/GPS approaches don't really work. Cannot get the glide slope to register when following the approaches.

Many of the features are fine but combined with Saitek Panels makes for very scary flying. I lost all the Saitek instruments IFR RJTT rain low viz and then flew to the Logitech factory and droppped them out the window.
Many frustrating panel items remain:
ADF setting does not work on units
Altitude UP knob not visible
430 GPS not 530
Font grey on grey is abominable in the POH and others even on the Carenado website
Hide yoke not explained is: click on yoke base
No dedicated (FSX shift F2) Radio / Autopilot popup
Drag left-right knobs not explained
No Vertical Speed setting
I didn't buy it to be a beta tester, one assumes that the basic controls would work.
The overall visual is good but I don't fly, since the early 80s, looking at myself.

Really good Aircraft from Carenado, flies very well, most knobs / buttons do something.
One user says there is no V/spd setting! there is its on the altitude setting panel.s Above the knob is the word in white saying "SET" click on SET or in the KNOB 2D format click the centre of the KNOB , and the screen changes to allow your desired V/spd value to be entered or you can use the white rocker switch on th A/pilot panel. set your altitude as normal, AP On, then click the up or down to get your V/spd to how you want it to climb or decend.
Its much better than the other Caravan on sale, where the V/spd is unuseable.but Carendao know about that.
The cabin lights are good.
You can only open doors etc by using the door pop up panel or "E" to open Pilots door. you can mouse click the door handle from inside but once opened they can't be clicked shut.
The engine spool up is really good and so is the spool down as well. The Engine sounds in flight are very good gives all the right sounds as power is put on or off.
There is a pretty rainbow coloured weather radar screen or I think that's what it is,but it dosen't do anything useful??
All in all a good aircraft to have. 9.1/2 out /10

I took a chance considering bad reviews when I noticed this plane on Steam sale. I love the plane, and in no way do I regret purchasing it. I took off from KSFO after sitting in cockpit for <10 min doing cockpit familiarization. I flew around verifying things worked. I created a small FP, selected approach procedures in the GPS, Activated, and performed something close to an ILS approach. I managed altitude using the papi when close enough. I buttered the bread on the first attempt. I'm really pleased with this DC.

A good looking GE addon for FSX, however, don't let the nice modelling of the aircraft and many usable switches trick you into buying this. Handling of the plane is atrocious, especially the throttle. Power set at 10% will feel the same as the one of 100% making stable approaches and smooth landings almost impossible. You will always have to adjust the speed by either having all power or no power at all, even if you pushed the throttle up by only 5% or 10% and that small transition feels very abrupt. There is no smooth throttle control at all. Smooth taxiing and ground operations are also impossible. Flaps will drastically decrease the speed of your plane the point of the stall if you don't set the throttle correctly, however as I already explained that can't be done properly so all you are left to work with is constantly putting the throttle from idle to power and so on.
Secondary, the weather radar does not work at all, even though in the manual you are provided with states it does, and there is even a special file explaining all the features of it. In short, avoid this addon at all cost, I got it on sale but I'd say it isn't even worth it at this price...
