Ubisoft is a joke, your launcher is garbage

Love all the Trials games since the very first flash games.

I would be extremely cautious with this game. I am a trails veteran and while rising isn't my favorite trials game it is a solid fun game. However I cannot get this game to actually launch. I've gone through a large ticket with ubisoft where they gave me a lot of troubleshooting steps to follow and none of them have solved the issue. This game simply does not launch at all. I click play and then the game attempts to start up and fails to actually start. I have an intel 12-900k CPU, an Nvidia 4090 GPU and am running windows 11. I know my experience isn't the end all be all but if you are running any modern hardware I would think twice before buying this game. You will also need a ubisoft connect account as the game does not launch without ubisoft connect running. Even with ubisoft connect running I cannot get the game to launch. Think long and hard about buying this game.

Oh boy, Trials Rising, where do I start with this one? Ok let's start with the positives, the tracks are actually really amazing and well designed, I like the Around the World setting, the skill games are quite decent, the customization is a massive step up from Fusion's, the University of Trials is a neat addition for newcomers and the music is pretty goodl! Those are the only parts that I like about the game! Now let's get to the negatives. The performance in this game is not good, there's a bunch of stutters, the menus/UI is slow and laggy. The world map UI is a mess, the loading times are slow and long, I don't like the lootboxes to unlock gear and the game is grindy due to it's progression system. This affected my experience with the game and even past Trials games didn't have these issues, it lacks polish. In conclusion, it has good content but bad optimization, grinds, in-game currency, loot boxes and issues. Which is why I'm giving this game a not recommended rating. It doesn't feel as fast and it's not a polished game. It's still as broken as I remembered which is disappointing...

Cannot believe they are still able to sell this game, it doesn't function. A huge amount of people cannot get this game to start whatsoever due to Ubisoft's insistence that you install their bloatware. This is a phenomenal game, Trials deserves better than Ubisoft. I highly recommend looking into how many people are complaining on forums and in tickets before purchasing this game.
