Men of War: Assault Squad - Skirmish Pack DLC

In my original review for the base game I thought there were 5 single player missions for each faction. I knew that the MP side of the game was dead and I knew some DLCs were MP map packs which are obviously useless now with Gamespy dying so long ago. There were these Skirmish packs too but I couldn't figure out what they were. Yeah the single player missions in the main game are called "Skirmish" missions too, this shares the same name, obviously there must be more missions added but I couldn't figure out how to access them. Turns out I was wrong from the very beginning, the single player part of the game was never 5 missions. It was 3 originally and became 5 with the 2 different Skirmish Pack DLCs, each adding a single new mission for each of the factions. So for example in the main game the Soviets have 3 single player missions, same as all other factions. You purchase Skirmish Pack and each faction gets 1 new mission. So Soviets in our example go up to 4 single player missions, Japanese go from 3 to 4, Germans, Americans all same. Then you buy the 2nd Skirmish Pack which does the same thing. Its good that there's lots of factions in the game and its nice to see the Japanese included they're usually not added to games, Pacific Front is usually ignored but they're here and while all of this is nice having 3 missions for every faction in the base game is awful. Expanding on the missions with a DLC isn't bad but only adding 1 mission for each faction is awful. Doing it again with another DLC called Skirmish Pack 2 just adds insult to injury. There were never 5 single player missions like I first assumed, I simply had access to all 5 for every faction because I already owned all of the DLC. I think you get my point. +The missions are actually not that bad. I'd say they're better then the vanilla game missions. The maps seem to be about the same size but the unit pool is much smaller so keeping track of everything and resupplying your troops is much easier. In some of the missions you'll even be on the defending side which makes everything so easy. -5 missions in total. Single player only because Gamespy is dead. A single mission for each faction. American, German, Japanese, British and Soviet. At least I had more fun in these missions but considering everything... I wouldn't say its worth the purchase. Its cheap which is great but again why bother buying the main game which is already very difficult on its own and then buy a DLC on top just to get access to some ok missions?
