Great game. Love the locomotion. I don't get sick, but this was very smooth and I felt in control.
Air boosts are sick. Can't wait for more maps and content.
Please add voice chat too, only could wave at people, would be fun to talk to them.

Wow what a ride, love it. Totally original and just works great in VR. As of now it's just a big sandbox stunt park with lot bits to explore, ripping around the place around is really intuitive the controls are easy and responsive. Kids will love this. Ran for 20 mintues and had a little motion sickness, but that's me and this type of locomotion, not the game the FPS is a solid 90.

I actually got this game on sale for $2.99 USD and thought that was a great deal in the Steam Summer Sale 2018. Little did I know this game's price would go even further down to .89 cents in the Steam 2018 Winter sale. Well, I finally got around to playing it and yes, this is an easy recommend at .89 cents. I'm not sure there is a better paid game lower than this pricetag.
I would call this an open world racing game with very few actual goals, other than having fun and trying to get good timed scores on the tracks that do show up every so often. You basically have motorcyle hands that thrust you forward and then you get 5 boosts to propel you even faster or jet you into the sky. You get more boosts by keeping your hands on the road. You can even perform some tricks in the air by mastering or at least cajoling the pressing of the grab button, although I personally found it finnicky at best. Either that or it takes a truly skilled master to consistently do a trick.
You have a huge game map to explore and discover. This game is definiteiy the older spiritual brother of the great game, Jet Island, but nowhere near as polished or as fun. However, for .89 cents you're getting a pretty nifty game at a very discounted price. I had fun, but you should also know this game is limited by its design.
Sometimes it feels like there's nothing to do. Other times, you feel like an absolute rockstar for finding a way to jump from one course to the next seemlessly and flawlessly. Courses go sideways, up, down, with huge gaping holes in between, that you'll have to figure out how to navigate. There's even this rocket league inspired game in the middle of the map that you can play online with others ... if you can get it to work and if you can find anybody else online. Yup, you guessed it, there really isn't anybody online so your best bet is to have a friend who owns this game too.

This is the kind of thing I like to experience in VR. The gameplay is inovative and works very well.
Played about 1h at first try: fooling around in the environment and in the soccer field, then did a few races.
Hope this will be well polished, because the potential is huge.

Game description key-points: moto-hands or hands on wheels
Overview: totally missed expectations.
it is not explained what where and how
First camera does not align with the wheels to provide a frame or core ...
turning is a mess
multiple times player felt down the canion, nothing to there and no way to get out... that`s a joke.

I can't not speak highly enough for the originality and the promise of this game and the immediate fun of it. There is alot of unfinished garbage seemingly thrown together in VR to make a quick buck. This ain't one of those games. Give it 15 minutes and you'll immediately see what I mean.
The first time I booted it up, I had a smile on my face for a good 10 minutes. The overworld is huge and fun to explore. Just that alone is worth the current asking price.
The recent update makes the overworld huge and even more fun to explore.
Also, if you have a friend or two with VR or can form a group online, that's where the real fun begins. It's just a great relaxing game. All it needs is a bit more structure.
The mechanics are brilliant and very, very well executed. Give it a chance. You'll likely be very surprised.
Things I've love to see:
1. A trick mode that starts a timer and you can see who can get the most collective air time in a certain amount of time.
2. An "elimination" mode, especially if they could add some power ups like Twisted Metal or Mario Kart.
3. A button/menu option to automatically teleport to the start of the current race.
Overall, though this is an excellent start.

The game is original, and made me clench my butt more than a few times, its fast, easy to get the hang of, and has great performance.
I really liked the method to move around, it "feels natural"? like the physics are very well done, i loved exploring the racetracks and just following it to see where it took me...
But other than a big racetrack, and a rocket league arena, there is nothing to do...
I get the game is a multiplayer racing game but... there are no other players, it could be turned into a single player exploration game, give me random, go there, grab that, bring it over here, add upgrades to the boost or whatever and id love it.
Right now its an empty desolate land, but great agile movement the map while empty really was worth "exploring" as in doing the full lap... its really big and challenging at parts. The races would be great if i could find other people to race.
Im recommending this because i got it on sale like 90% off iirc, and i consider that that price was too low. But at the same time the full price feels too high.

Throttle Powah lets you control two wheels with your motion controllers which is a nice concept. It's refreshing and a lot of fun when you try it for the first time.
Anyway there is only one quite small open world map with different circuts. Not a lot of replay value after half an hour of exploring the map...
The game also looks and feels very unpolished in it's current state and since it was released about two months ago there were no huge updates or anything that would have been mentionable.
It's just not worth the current price tag of 9,99€ if you'd ask me.
I recommend to wait for a sale of at least -50% or wait if there going to be some huge updates because for me this feels like one of the many EA games that will never be completed...

This is an extremely fun and very unique game!
I saw it while browsing some VR titles and was hooked. It looked so fun to play. The races seemed cool and the stunts I saw in the trailer were amazing! I figured its only 5 bucks and I've almost got that much value watching the trailer 3 times back to back. So happy I grabbed it! Racing around was a blast just zooming around these crazy hot wheels like tracks trying to balance going as fast as I can without launching my self off one of the turns! The stunts took me a few minutes to kinda figure out how to time the spin grip button but once I did I was having the time of my life!! I spent the next good chunk of time spinning and barrel rolling all over those snowy mountains having a blast! I ended my session tonight by jumping into the online servers and did a race. I saw after that I have #9 in one of the race leaderboards on the steam page. So if any of you guys that used to play happen to see this just know that its time to come back and defend those titles or I'm going to slowly climb to the top of all of them!! See you guys in there hopefully!!
Also for what its worth the soundtrack is SO GOOD! "The Spin Wires" get a good spotlight in this game and for good reason! I love the tracks "Aren't You Worried" (from the trailer) and "Girls Like You"!! The "I Love It" cover is fun too lol. I've already added them to my Spotify playlists!!

Pretty original game. While driving through the green hilly terrain I suddenly remembered the stunt quarry from Motocross Madness. Even if you have a strong stomach for motion, be wary of the grip which I thought was the "fall down and roll around" button but after watching the video more closely it's for doing tricks. I haven't tried out the soccer multiplayer yet, but it's the closest thing I've seen to rocket league vr.
I made it through most of the terrain in the map, but I've still got a ways to go before I have the controls mastered so that will keep it fun for a while.
edit: after a long time, this got an update! Feels even more like Motorcross Madness now that is has some courses to race through. Jet Moto is another good comparison, especially when spiralling up a ramp that's circling a 200 foot tall animal horn sticking out of the ground. I'm not optimistic about ever playing multiplayer but has some pretty good tracks to cruise along, and not too many blind drops that send you flying off the track.
