Amateur-hour rubbish. Regret buying. Would insta-refund but failed to try game while still in refund window.

Oh yeah! Easy recommendation. Quick install and play. No frills, instant load times. Great soundtrack. Minimalist graphics. Very high framerate. Satisfying shmup play. And the $1 sale made it a no-brainer.

An early attempt at a twin-stick game, by an indie developer. Some glaring issues, but overall pretty good. Played this game on ubuntu linux 18.10 with radeon mesa drivers and an xbox-type gamepad controller. Some issues that I saw were: (a) gamepad cannot be used for the menus, including between levels (b) the meta-game unlocks all got lost at one point, (c) gameplay is pretty repetitive, (d) game cannot handle gamepad disconnect-reconnects The game graphics look really nice, and the music is nice although I shut it off because it did not help the gameplay. I had some trouble with the level design, as the transparent walls disappear when they are near the edge of the screen. Bottomline is this game is worth purchasing, but with many other twin-sticks available, it might be a redundant game in your collection. It is a coin-flip whether I would recommend it, but I would like to come back and try the multiplayer co-op, at some point. Hope the developers keep working on it, or at least deal with controller issues.

Really digging this game so far, only getting off so soon because I have an early flight to catch tomorrow. Right off the bat I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has photosensitive epilepsy as the graphics are EXTREMELY flashy with a multitude of colors. Gameplay is ridiculously fluid and it's very satisfying using the powerup provided once you've gathered enough star energy. Using that bad boy inside of a survival stage and getting over a 1,000 hit count is such a good feeling even though I got my ass whooped shortly after. The music is fitting. The menus are minimal and are pretty right to the point. I'm not great with identifying music but for anyone who enjoys D&B (I believe it to be) then this game's got a few jammy tracks of them. I haven't tried the co-op or multiplayer PvP, but I'm sure it's a grand time as the singleplayer. Pros: -Works on Linux natively (Played on Pop!_US 17.10) -Great/Sensible keyboard controls (Haven't tested controller) -Fluid movement -Fluid shooting/combat -Good game sounds -Enjoyable music Cons: -60 FPS Locked (not really a con, but I'm a numbers guy. The more the better.) -On occasion the game will start to lag inside of a level. Fixed by going back to main menu and continuing your stage. This is just a small review, hope it gave enough information for anyone thinking about purchasing.
