The classic Myst experience is still a lot of fun and is so easy to move around quickly. It always brings back a lot of childhood memories for me.

Anyone living through the 90's will remember the "Myst" point-and-click strategy game. It was a cultural moment and the killer app that encouraged most computer owners to purchase graphics cards or CD-ROM drives for the first time, kicking off a new industry that was immediately followed by entrants like "Rama", "Lighthouse: The Dark Being", "Shivers" and "The Journeyman Project".
No review from me is necessary because the product is very well-known and commented upon, but I will say that the title today is just as playable as it was 30 years ago and no player would regret the few hours that a round of "Myst" will take. Plaudits to the team who made it and thanks for the memory.

Cyan has created many game worlds, but Myst will always be the best! Myst Masterpiece Edition comes as close to the original 1993 game as it gets. It's the version I grew up on and spent hours on as a kid. The puzzle solving is first-rate, the story line is gripping, and the graphics, though old, are still beautiful and memorable. Navigation is simple, and every screenshot and QuickTime video is lovingly made. Myst and the four worlds it leads too provide a great variety of landscapes, devices, puzzles, pages, sounds, rooms, and more! I also love the idea of traveling to other worlds with books, being a book lover myself. Myst is my personal puzzle game recommendation for kids and adults of all ages! I'd also recommend it to lovers of mild steampunk. Just give it a try, and you'll never want to come back to reality!

So I actually only have one complaint about this game and it's that the font hurts my eyes. I'm sure it's a really good game and I'm probably going to try one of the other many versions of it eventually but having to read low-resolution pixelated fonts made my head hurt and i just gave up.
Yes making it look like handwriting is cute but please just let me hover over it and see the text in a simple, readable sans serif font.
