An inexpensive, bite-sized DLC that fans of the main game should enjoy.

Less content in this one but overall not disappoint as the price they're asking is super low compared to contents we got.

I felt compelled to respond to a review that complained that pubs make things too easy.
Can you imagine an office tower without a pub? Is it even worth working there if you don't have a decent pub?
This DLC helps fill in a few critical gaps and I have all the respect in the world for the devs who priced it appropriately as well. This is my only "perfect" game, achievement-wise, and it's all been time spent enjoyably. Worth it for sure.

Looking to expand your office footprint? This DLC has got you covered! As someone who adores the office space mechanics of Project Highrise, I would be remiss not to present this one for your consideration. Climb the corporate ladder and expand your skyscraper to make way for ambitious new businesses!

I built a few of the large satellite arrays and quickly found out that their capacity of fifteen units could easily be overwhelmed by the number of new office tenants that come with this pack. Keep you eyes on their capacity and usage!
It's really fun to have to find new ways of getting the office tenants to play nicely with eachother. FYI: one of the new small tenants hates noise, and another one produces a ton of it. Another thing I learned the hard way!
Before this pack, cubicle farms were the easiest towers to manage and profit from. The disappointing capacities of the satellites aside, I love this pack.

Once again London Life DLC is very similar to Tokyo Towers, and therefore also Miami Malls. And once again I'm very happy that in a very modest price of $2 we got a lot of new tenants, facilities, restaurants and all other things that slightly expand already huge selection known from all other DLCs combined.
This DLC also adds another 3 scenarios to play, which is just lovely. More scenarios is always nice, I just wish they were a bit more unique, since for some reason those 3 looked very similar to each other without a lot of changes between them. Still, I enjoyed my time just like in all three DLCs that came before it, and I'm very happy that developers are still working on the title, even if just a bit, considering it's almost 2 years since release by now.
I hope to see more in the future, especially those larger expansions like Las Vegas, but even those small DLCs are still very nice, and I'm happy to return to the game every half a year for those extra scenarios.
Not a lot more to post, refer to my reviews of Tokyo Towers and Miami Malls, since in terms of the content all 3 together with London Life are very similar, but it's not anything bad, quite the opposite actually.

I am conflicted.
On the one hand, this DLC does just enough right that I don't regret paying the paltry entry price. There's definitely more than $2 worth of content here, and it was enough to freshen up a 2 year old game for me to play for a few more hours. But it's also, without a doubt, the weakest addition to Project Highrise yet.
The Good
* The addition of doors to control noise and smells is very welcome, as a much less expensive alternative to "Building Services" like shoe-shines and telephone booths. I just wish they weren't so strictly limited in quantity, a similar problem that has largely prevented me from using the janitor's closets added back in 2016.
* New scenarios are always nice. It didn't take long to beat them, but they had some interesting constraints that were quite unlike anything released to this point.
* New office types with wildly contrasting needs, some of which are quite directly antagonistic to eachother in the early game. We've never had that kind of gameplay before in the "small office" phase, which I really dig. It's a pitty they get a bit more samey later on, though admittedly it was always the small offices that were most in need of more variety.
* The aesthetics of the new lobby and decorative items are just fantastic. In particular, I like how they fit in with the Tokyo Towers decorative items.
The Bad
* The new services, satellites and broadcast towers, are not particularly well integrated with other services. I really feel like it may have been better to have a new "Data" utility ala the HVAC utility that was added in the Las Vegas expansion, with perhaps the special requirement that each Data meter you build in the basement will, itself, take up the same number of ether Cable or Telephone connections. Though that's just me.
* Similarly, the satellite and broadcast rooms take up too much real estate on what must be a top floor (at time of construction), which results in very wonky looking setups when you need a lot of connections on a narrow tower. It really should have been a new Office Service, like the executive club, that acts a simple unlock for additional higher-level office types.
* This will seem petty, but the addition of a vanilla Medium (8 tile) Restaurant that has a bar, the "Pub", is a bit game breaking. Several higher level offices previously required restaurants with bars, which meant making the space and necessary arrangements to support a Large (16 tile) Restaurant. This cuts that space requirement in half, and moreover Pubs aren't particularly challenging to support.
All in all, there is a lot to recommend here, especially at this price, but a lot of the core features being added feel very unintegrated to the point of almost being poorly thought out. This is one for completionists; I think most people would be well advised to pick up Las Vegas, Tokyo Towers, and Miami Malls before this one (and probably in that order).
