Usually I dislike DLC's with weapon things. But they included a mission in this as well. It increases the playtime with a new quest. And that's definitely worth a buy for sure. Everybody likes brand new playtime stuff. It's a short mission, but it's really worth it. The base price could be cheaper, though. I recommend to just wait for the discount. The playtime has been increased with this. It deserves a positive review in my opinion. Thankfully it's not just a bad weapon pack.

Well if you played and enjoyed the Sniper Elite V2, you will also enjoy these DLC maps. The Landwehr Canal Pack review i like the maps - this one is a bit dark but loads of place to hide and sneak round and still with the same game play as Sniper Elite V2 ... downfall its not that large as maps go 8-10 simply because the map is small.
DLC Review
The story always lacked levels where you have to do an objective and choose your own way trough the destroyed streets of berlin. There are rarely scenes where the game isnt handholding you and the path is usually clear, or being blocked off by rubble or fences you could easily climb. Therefore another mission that focuses on non liniarity should be welcome. New Features/Gameplay I dont think its worth to buy this one. Personally its a a bit better than the outpost due to its level design being also very visually pleasing . Yet strangely its not really part of any mission despite the objective being pretty clear to kill some officers who could have been introduced or being made part of the main campaigns story. This one is very short, i finished it in around 6 minutes, excluding waiting time for the ai (5 mins+) to finally move to a place where the achievement wants to you to blow up a door. The map itself is pretty neat, it has lots of different paths and is visually very stimulating. Conclusion/TL;DR The DLC isnt worth its price tag for its being just some sort of challenge map without any story tied to it. This type of stuff is more like a 1-2€ DLC at tops or even free.

This is basically one extra map/mission, with two achievments. Wait for a sale and it will be worth the price if you liked the base game and look for a little more, expect 30 minutes to 1 hours for the achievments. Past that, there are no replay value, like the rest of the game.

This dlc sucks because if you're not careful the snipers will catch you xD and on top of that I have to wait for 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ commanders to enter a room.

Lee Enfield and MP4 look fine in the DLC mission that they come packaged with, but really low poly and low res when you use them in the main story missions or the missions of other DLC.

Landwehr Canal Pack is another nice DLC, coming with another mission plus two rifles and one submachine gun. DLC mission once again outdoes the main campaign, by not being a linear corridor progression-wise. This time you are in city night level, on square map with no invinsible walls. Pretty much what the first Sniper Elite game wanted to be. Actually, it's also what the second Sniper Elite wanted to be, as you first have to stealth your way toward any vantage point that you want, maybe set up traps, then assassinate three of the generals and make you way out as everybody wants you dead. It doesn't even give you game over if you miss your chance, you can just blow up doors of building and do it loud. Constant thunder loud sounds also help. No worries, trailer doesn't show the best way to do it. You wasn't completely spoiled. As far weapons, nothing much special. Not sure what to think of Lee Enfield rifle. The Type 99 rifle on other hand doesn't boast anything special either, but I feel that it's the one that I enjoy the most, just feel like a good non-gimmick 5-ammo-only rifle. Not sure about MP44 submachine gun either, it actually felt slightly worse for me. But who knows.

I'm not recommending "The Landwehr Canal Pack" DLC to the "Sniper Elite V2" base game. As with the other 2 DLCs that I've played, this one consists of one reasonable mission. And, once again, it's far too short for the $5 list price. It took me 3.1 hours to finish the DLC with all (2) Achievements. The problem is that at least a half an hour of that total time was spent waiting in position for the Commanders to enter the room I needed them in to get the "You Were Only Supposed to" (YWOST) Achievement (I had to replay the mission three times because in the first two, one of the Commanders kept looking for me instead of following his script). That means there's really only about 2-1/2 hours worth of game play if you go for the Achievements. If you don't do Achievements, the mission will only take about an hour. So, even the sale price (I think I paid $2 for it) would be too much. However, I do have more issues with this DLC than the price: - For some reason, at one point, a timer starts counting down. I'm not sure why the developers did this since every other mission/objective in this whole game (base and DLCs) is objective based, not time based. There's no reason they couldn't have just flipped over to the next objective once you reached the Objective location. - As a further irritation, after the timer goes away, the Commanders just wander around the area for a while. I'm assuming that that's so you have plenty of opportunity to kill them if you're not trying for the YWOST Achievement. Still, it's annoying after the timer. - And then, the waypoint just after killing the Commanders for the YWOST Achievement is inside a room with one entrance where a horde of guards are coming through. So, if you die there (and I did), you re-spawn in the midst of a firefight. If the waypoint had been just before entering that room, I could have laid traps. With the way it is, the only way to do that would be to re-play the whole mission. So, I'm Not Recommending "The Landwehr Canal Pack" DLC. I suppose if you can find it for about a dollar, it might be OK.

Hardest of the DLCs, fun at night with piles of enemy and some decent over-sound. A small map with a zillion hiding places and enemies. I found this one the most enjoyable as there seemed to be no end to the numbers of enemies to snipe. Easy to miss one lightning bolt sound or drop a round too low and have the entire world on your head in no time. Worth it. This is what Sniper Elite 3 wanted to be. Stealth and snipe your way to a nest and take the shots. Rush it and take 30 min. take your time and clean the map could take easily an hour, maybe 2. The first rooms remind me of Enemy at the Gates. heh. Maybe I should have brought a Mosin? the Included weapons: The Lee Enfield is OK. meh. 10 rnd mag, ok zoom, so-so muzzle velocity. Nice for completeness sake, but an also-ran. Sadly in the Real World (tm) A Lee Enfield action is insanely smooth and amazingly fast cycling. The MP44 is possibly the best of the SMGs. Good all around weapon at various ranges. Best SMG in zombie army trilogy for sure. Tight grouping with a high mag count but lower dmg. The Type 99 is tied with the K98 as the best single shot sniper rifle. Not the best for repeated quick follow up shots but a high muzzle velocity, and excellent magnification make for one of two best slow-sniping rifles. Actually fits this mission very well. Best of the DLCs? neudorf is fun but a cake walk, hitler is short as heck, st. pierre is average.

Most difficult DLC containing achievements for this game, but got easiest ones ;) Small map filled up with lot of nazis. Enemies wait at every corner. To complete this will take you about 2-3 hours or 30-60minutes at easiest difficulty. Recommended only at 75% discount. This is just 1 small map... like all other dlc's for this game... :D
