Great game with a very new design to puzzles. I really enjoy plaing it silently with my partner. that adds a how new level to the game

Fun puzzle game for 2 players, or if you want a real challenge try controlling both at once. Very unique and well made.

The puzzles are interesting in a way that if you get stuck and start just messing around, you figure out innovative stuff and feel smart by accident! There were some levels that were annoying because we thought you had to have really good reflexes to solve them, but it turns out, if you put your mind to it, you can solve them nice and slow. There's a lot to enjoy here!

8/10 DERU: The Art of Cooperation is a really cute and fun couch co-op puzzle game that I played through with my wife, who is a much less experienced gamer than myself. The game consists of a pair of shapes, one white and one black, each of which can block the opposite color as it moves across the screen, but dies when touching its own color. By blocking for each other, you weave your way through puzzles both simple and complex, reaching the exit and going on to the next challenge. The game contains no dialogue, but its minimalist style is noobie-friendly while also being really stylish. The game does a good job of adding a handful of new mechanics to keep the player engaged and add variety to the puzzles, while remaining pretty simple and never getting so difficult that you cannot find the answer without some good old fashioned trail and error. I've played a number of different couch co-op puzzle type games with my wife over the years, and this ended up being one of my favorites that we've played.

Super hard game to play alone. Must be awesome to play with a friend. Cool sound and graphic design, and the levels are well thought.

A really, REALLY fun mechanics couch coop game. I wish there would have been more levels, and even a level designer. Hidden GEM on Steam, I played with a friend and we had a blast, and she doesn't play video games very often, super, duper, easy to pick up, but hard to master. Lots of fun

Great aesthetics Good puzzles Good for local co-op play, or in-city remote play... But, anything more, the lag just kills the game... absolutely unplayable when playing between two countries and don't even try playing when you're playing co-op across two continents (Frames per second changes to Seconds per frame)...

This game is by far the best one to play with Steam Remote Play! The first time I encountered this game was a long time before its release at the Game Convention in Zurich. Back then I said, this game needs to have online multiplayer and not just local. Thanks to steam remote play, the dev was able to integrate it, so basically only one person has to buy the game and the second person can join in too. Works well with each having a controller. It can also be played alone, but generally together it's so much more fun. The game's art style is simple, but it makes the game very complex, as you need to differenciate between black and white to solve the puzzle. And believe me, you will accidentally kill your player more often than you want to admit it. It has a very nice learning curve, it is not too hard, but not too easy too. For me one of the best coop games on steam and very well executed with the steam remote play. If you think the price is too high? Well it might seem like that, but you can enjoy this game multiple times with multiple people and only one person has to buy it, so it is worth it.

Deru is one of the best co-op games I have played in a while. This game is perfect over Remote Play Together because there's little need to worry about latency. This game is gorgeous, simplistic, and beautiful. You need to play this game with someone who is patient and communicative, because you WILL mess up. But it's okay, because each level will end pleasingly and make your combined efforts worth it. The gameplay is simple - move your characters to the goals, while helping each other. Each level is fresh and unique. Everything is perfectly designed to work together. Once we finish this game, we'll start again.

I played this game for many hours before its launch at various game events. Watched it grow from a tiny prototype made at the global game jam into a fully fledged, wonderful game. Congrats Inkkit, you created something very special :)
