Quite cool, but waaaay to hard :( Runs well on Linux and steam controller support is also nice.

A purist twin-stick shooter: each level challenges you to survive and to obtain maximum points. The game gets too hard, too fast, and provides little content for the price. The first ten levels were okay, with some variety of minute-long levels to repeat. They could be finished eventually with luck and practice. But, within a short time, I was stuck doing them over and over. This is a tough-as-nails game with no handicaps like powerups and equipment drops, so there is no way to continue. So that is not enough game content to justify paying for the game. And there were technical issues, on ubuntu linux. There was a reported issue of the game continuing to run after quitting, which never got fixed. And now, the game fails to launch, even though steam thinks that it is running. It is unplayable. I kept it running for trading cards, but I probably got less than an hour of game time, in total.

Great twin stick sequel to a great twin stick first game. Scoregasm 2 is more of the same Scoregasm goodness and that's just fine by me. Perfect for minimalist shooter fans.

Managed to beat every boss of this game. Brilliant twin-stick shooter and excellent follow up to Scoregasm. I like how the game uses the multiplier to encourage you to make use of both the all-range and aimed fire attack in combination. Some of the later and harder stages I found a bit too overwhelming with almost no clear pattern, but beating those on normal difficulty felt so rewarding.

Geometry Wars-ish shoot-em-up where you have to balance killing enemies with your area pulse for multiplier, or with bullets for points.

I'm so glad there's people like Charlie Knight out there that keep up the good tradition of British programmers to produce insaely colorful and difficult shoot'em ups. Small price, small download, honest twin-stick shooting fun. Just like Jeff Minter at his best.

I'm not feeling this one. Son of Scoregasm just feels all too standard, and not in a good way. The controls are tight, but the level design is all a bit sub-par. The artwork is meh. For those that have played longer, if I am missing something, please let me know and I will revisit - but right now I just don't feel compelled to keep grinding it out. The easy difficulty is, well, easy, and the harder ones just seem too masochistic for my tastes. Pros: +The price point is fine, because if you get into it you will easily get your moneys worth Cons: -Everything is just too bland to be competitive in an overcrowded genre -The artwork is too standard I'd pass on this Son of Scoregasm.
