The gameplay and open modding everyone wanted, but so few spineless corporations/devs were willing to make.

very good game very good mods also beware the game will most likely make you a psychopath just in case you need to check the traits are: Antisocial behavior Lack of empathy Impulsivity Narcissism Lack of guilt If you experience any of these symptoms I would recommend you take a break from the game and seek psychiatric help and consolation

> boot up the game for the first time > have fun > complete the story > either get bored and quit or continue > go on youtube and see if there's any content > sees realistic shit > decides to give it a try > downloads mods to fuel your addiction > head into sandbox > fail miserably > decide to dedicate their time to this game > practices combat in this game > soon after, ai is a joke at this point > become a medieval soldier in combat > you stand no chance > practice your magic skills > become a built druid > go for hand-to-hand combat > knows the most effective hand-to-hand combat techniques > become a professional japanese martial artist > arms start to swell, however, you are growing stronger at a rapid rate > your footwork is like a choir, beautiful > you are a super soldier > you become who you want to be > before you can take a fresh breath, your headset dies > plug in > too lazy to wait > so you invade a nearby castle > take over in a matter of minutes > you begin to form an army, growing it and thriving > nobody can stop you now > try to take on the final leader of this world > fight the final wizard near your power of magic > but you came out on top > you sit on your throne while everyone bows down to you > you make a goal to take on every greek mythical creature > visit zeus in the clouds > call out > he thinks you're weak and puny > so you show him who's boss > after an intense battle, you finally return home, becoming an everlasting god > generations will know you > after pondering on your throne trying to figure out what to do > your headset finally charges > you put it on and play more blade and sorcery

I'm not sure how, but this game has managed to get progressively worse with every update. It's the AI that's at fault, with every addition to the RPG gamemode the AI seems to get worse and worse. Where they used to be able to have a back-and-forth fight with you, they're now unable to block a single attack and are only able to rush to crowd you, taking advantage of the fact that the hit detection doesn't register them running onto the point of your sword. It used to be possible to get AI mods made by more competent people to fix this, but the move to some stupid in-game mod browser that requires a login seems to have been botched, so that it fails to verify and leaves you unable to use mods. With inconsistent mod access the game is worthless, because mods are necessary to fix the glaring AI problems and make the game playable.

Pretty good game if you need exercise for the upper half of your body. Definitely recommend that you get this game. If you do get it, make sure you have enough space for some decent sized movement, because some moves you have to pull off are insane. Don't wanna end up punching you wall, wouldn't recommend that.

Overall, if you are looking for a vr fighting game, this is the best option. However, this game is terribly optimised, so you'll need a really powerful PC to play this game.
