I just played this for a few hours. The manner of flight in combination with combat and graphics is just what I was looking for. I look forward to more content in single player and a broader community in multi player. This has enough positive reviews to be "Very Positive" at this point, which would be well deserved.
Dev,
- I would like access to beta.
- Add some fall damage for even more challenge.
- Add an option so that one does not need to push down on touch pad to thrust; less wear & tear.
- When using touch navigation to run around on the ground, allow for sprint or faster movement.
- Add bots for filler coop players so that matches can start immediately and new players can replace bots as they join.
Great game! Loving it!

This could be a good game. The game mechanism is fun and there are 3 characters with unique abilities. I'm OK with its graphics but its UI and game balance definitely needs more love from Dev. The monster in PvE mode is distributed like test target, and no balance patch based on player feedback. When it comes to VR multiplayer game, you want to buy a game with active developer and constant update, because the user feedback will keep it on the right track.

draco mode does not work only jet mode works (draco mode stays on 0), if the game had other features then perhaps I will buy it again!

Awesome! One of the funnest experiences I've had in VR so far. I have so much more respect for Iron Man after playing this. Controls are on point and I have a ton of fun each time I fire it up. The only thing it lacks is more players for multiplayer, but the devs are working to add AI bots last I heard.

This game is (curently) not really optimized for Oculus Touch. I turned on the option to rotate via the right stick, but it's not working.
The first "mission" with Jet-9 was nice and I had fun until the dragon appears because of some bugs. This is more a tutorial than a solo mission (only around 15 minutes). I also tried to test the race mode but I didn't find a way to flight with the dragon, maybe also a problem with the oculus touch. Please insert also a single mission for the dragon to explain how to handle it.
The multiplayer is nice to play but could be better. I expected more but the multiplayer and the flying with Jet-9 is a big pro and working really great. I never thought that fying with a jet pack is possible without sickness, so it's absolut funtastic! 10 buck is also very cheap/fair but please keep in mind you will get (currently) an beta (multiplayer) and an alpha version (solo).
For Oculus you need a third sensor because of the not working swing-to-turn.
I changed my review to recommended, because of the fair price and the desription whith an focus of multiplayer :-)
@developer: Thanks for the response and the fix of the missles (made no sense without it on oculus touch). It's a good start :-)

Hi. Could you please add a possibility to have a private game? We've been playing this game for about a year, but sometimes we can't go further than a lobby cuz someone created it already but didn't activated a "ready to start" button. Today we've been waiting for an hour to start. A private game would really solve that kind of problems. Thanks)

I tried BattleSky out of pure curiosity, finally something fresh to do after so many wave shooters in VR. This is a solid foundation for a great game. I only tried the multiplayer part which is what I'm more interested in and I had a blast playing as a dragon and biting heads off!
In Battlesky you have an aerial battle in the sky. Right now you can choose between two characters: A dragon and an Iron Man type of character which actually has Iron Man flying mechanics.
It's very easy to get the hang off and the dragon actually has a flapping mechanic. It's quite funny to play.
The best part: I did not get any motion sickness at all!
Kudos to the developer for making this. Recommended.

I jumped into my first outing with BattleSky VR and I had a blast. I can't believe how fast I can move with out getting sick. I played some two on two escort mode which was a lot of fun and then a little free for all where the other players were helping me out with the controls.

This game is extremely fun to play. Once you figure out all of the mechanics, this game will get your heart pumping and time will fly by. I played with a group of 4 for 2 hours straight. The game is better the more people are in the game, but it was still extremely fun even if you are doing 1 on 1 battles. This game just came out today in Early Access so there were some bugs here and there, but they were all fixed by leaving the room and re-entering. I did not experience anything game breaking. The game runs really well. I did not notice any lag while zooming in the sky and the online experience worked great with very low latency and good voice quality. This game has a lot of potential to be a VR game that I play daily if the community starts building up. Speaking of that, here are some things I would improve. 1. The community, this game hasn't been heavily advertised, so the community does have to start from a small group. I would hope that more updates and positive reviews will help the game have more concurrent players. If you can get at least one person on at the same time as you I think the game is worth the asking price with just 1v1 PVP so if you are scared about not having anyone to play with it shouldn't be a big issue. Esspecially since there is a communtiy Discord for you to setup play times in. The community that is already here has been really nice and helpful and I had a lot of fun hanging out with these people. 2. There isn't currently a mute player option from what I have seen and I hope that comes at some point just in case there is a toxic player in the lobby. 3. I feel like the game's "Specials" don't feel that special when you get them every other life, so I would like to see the rate that you fill up the gauge go down some. The developers are very active in the community and are working on meaningful updates that add depth to the game and that is a must have in VR Early Access. Overall I reccomend buying this just for the experience of flying without nasuea especially since the asking price is on the lower end of the VR spectrum and the multiplayer is an absolute blast.

Another Multiplayer VR game on life support. If you're wondering, the game is basically dead. I tried getting a multiplayer game on a Sunday night and I was the only player in the lobby. That's rather unfortunate, because this seems like a very good, fun game for MP, although that is almost pure speculation on my part as there was no bots to play against and it was mostly me just flying around the map alone.
The good news is that there is a singe player campaign. The campaign is 15-30 minutes long depending on your skill. I would advise taking 30 minutes, look around, take in the sights, do not rush to kill stuff as that may be all the time you spend in this game.
I don't blame the devs. They made a really, solid game, think Iron Man PvP or coop in VR with a girl and a dragon too. The single player campaign was fun. But life isn't fair and there's still just not enough VR headsets on Steam. I hope there is soon. I hope it becomes as common as a keyboard and mouse. I don't really recommend the game as it is now though. If they add bots, I'll change my review. Supposedly, they will soon. If you have friends with VR and you all want to buy this game to play coop or PvP, then I certainly say it's a good one for that.
Rate 4.9/10. I want to change my recommendation. But I spent $9 on hopes and wishes and a 30 minute single player campaign isn't enough to change the fact that MP is on life support.
