From the outside, this game may look like a simple 2D platformer.
But allow for the disestablishment of your expectations as Amaterasu Software takes you on a journey through the female reproductive system!
Yes, the facade of Fluffy Creatures VS The World may be that of a co-operative indie platforming game, but beneath the masquerade lies a witty and bone-chilling chronicle of the matriarchy.
In the game's description, there lies a FALSE diegesis of the experiences of Fluffy McCuddleston (powerful & controlling & dominant woman) and Mr Snuggly Von Purpleton (submissive & Germanic, loser). Although the chronicle can be viewed in this way, a much more formidable chronicle can be achieved when considering the intended chronicle of a powerful woman overcoming her submissive Germanic loser huzzboy.
Looking beneath the surface, this game tells the chronicle of Fluffy McCuddleston in her journey of overcoming the gender pay gap.
Another way in which the game subverts your expectations is by being complete dogshit to control. It feels as though you are at war with 500 ghouls, each battling to control the effectiveness of your "double jump". A peer reviewed study has concluded that the "double jump's" effectiveness ranges from 'kind of?' to 'nightmarishly unusable'. This is a result of the logarithmic multiplicativeory double jump formula, which was devised by Dr. Sadisto in a fit of rage to dismantle the matriarchy.
This game showed me what it means to be a woman. The chronicles of Fluffy McCuddleston's journey through the conception of life really hits you in the feels (and in the tubes). The chronicle, though impermanent, leaves a permanent engraving in the reproductive system. And that engraving says:
Brace yourself ladies. Because here it comes!
