Pretty tedious / miserable past the first few levels.
Given only ~7% of people even bothered to beat the first level, I feel like I made a mistake picking this one up, but it seems that like me, most people who bothered playing the first chapter committed to clearing the whole game. Don't join us.

A really fun and cleverly designed puzzle game where you guide little Qbik (the square protagonist) through the different levels of a labyrinth by eating all the yellow blocks.
The mechanics in the game are very well done. Qbik is subjected to gravity and can only go back up by using teleporters or lifts if any. There are also interruptors than need to be activated to open some door or raise some platform.
Some levels are challenging, but none is impassable if you take your time and put your mind into it. The rewind ability was extremely useful.
There are 7 chapters in all and I liked the little evolution story of the game world from 1D to 3D that is told between each chapter. We also get amusing random thoughts from Qbik while playing and funny signboards can be found on some levels. Those aspects reminded of World of Goo.
After you are done with the 63 levels, there is an editor where you can create your own levels to then upload to the community, or you can play levels made by other players.
In all, Qbik is a very well thought but simple puzzle game I definitely recommend to any puzzle lovers!

Qbik is a game that surprised me with its execucion. Even though the concept and mechanics in the game are very simple, authors took care to set the game in some environment, make a hero which is not bland and some little story.
Qbik, as it is also a name of the hero, is a talking square. He says many sentences that are friendly and pretty funny. Personally I liked this very much and found it motivational to go further.
Level design is very good. The initial caves are easy and the difficulty nicely increases with a progress. In further levels I was missing some little enviromental surprises that were introduced in the easiest ones though.
What I did not like abou the game was controls. At first I tried to play it on a controller, but quickly found out that using mouse is way more comfortable. Selecting Qbik to move was making the surroundings colored grayish, which was disappointing considering that the most of time we have our character selected - so instead of nice vivid colors we see the world in dull hues.
Despite the above I found Qbik a great logical game to play and I highly recommend it for every puzzle lover.

A high quality puzzle game that would benefit anyone's thought encouragement collection.
The gameplay, mechanics, and functionality are very well executed.
The sound design however, leaves.... MUCH to be desired.

A fun little puzzle game with great graphics and lovely sound effects.
You can make your own levels and share them, or just play what others created.
Achievements are pretty straight forward and non are bugged.
Highly recommended!

This game deserves more attention. It checks many boxes on my list of what a good puzzle game should be.
First, the mechanic is simple to understand - find a path to eat all yellow blocks - but it grows in complexity as new elements are added, like moving platforms and teleporters. Later levels will test everything you learned, becoming challenging but not too hard.
The danger is that you make a wrong move and lock the path to certain places, but if you do, fear not! You can easily undo as many actions as you want. Instead of punishing your mistakes, the game encourages you to try different ideas - a sign of good game design.
The art style is cute and funny, and there's even a plot behind everything. Something about dots becoming squares and war and tiny Qbik entering a maze to find the hidden power. It does make sense in the end.
At last, the game is quite lengthy. For that price range, you would expect about 1 or 2 hours of content, but you'll get easily 6 to 8 hours of exercise for your brain.

Maybe it is the dreary music... I just couldn't get further than 30 levels... that's even when they introduced a new mechanic... it just felt like a chore rather than an "aha" moment. Rather, when you have that "aha" moment, it was followed with this dreaded sense of tiring workload.

I enjoy puzzle games, and this has simular mechanics as BoulderDash & Crystal Mines. Your goal (at this point at least) is to eat the yellow block working your way down. Someblocks fall with gravity and some stay stationary. thats where the thinking ahead several moves comes in, because you cannot go back up. also theres a convenient rewind button incase you miscalculate your jurney to the bottom. their introducing new types of blocks as the levels go by, so i expect this to get more difficult in later stages. I have not encountered any bugs yet, so thats always good

Qbik is a fun little puzzle game with relativly simple mechanics, that will constantly challange you with new levels and ideas. Game consists of 7 chapters. Each chapter introducess you to new mechanics like moving platforms or teleports that keep the game fresh wihtout making it overly complicated. Above that, the game has a level editor, and a steadily growing comunity constantly making new leves to play, which means you will always have something new to challange yourself with.
Overall, while the game does not bring anything exacly new to the table, it is quite good at making the core idea of puzzle games fun and entartaining. I do think it's a game worth picking up if you are a fan of puzzle games or just looking for some casual game to kill a bit of time on occasions.

"Qbik" is a fun puzzle game with an editor to create and share your own levels.
It has a growing community, so you will always have something new to play.
There are different devices like portals, transporters, lifts and pressure gates.
If you make a mistake, there's a handy undo feature that rewinds time.
The levels are quite clever and the editor is intuitive.
