Interesting puzzle game similar to Tetris but without falling blocks. Also the blocks change so there is some added strategy to it. Anyway, it will keep you entertained for a while if you like puzzle games.

Monster Cakes is just like Breaking Bad, in that both start out innocent and fun, but as you get deeper into it, you realize there's a deeper level of strategy and cunning required to succeed. Just like how Heisenberg had to constantly adapt to the ever-changing drug world, I have to constantly adapt my puzzle solving techniques to keep up with the demands of the game. From the moment I started playing, I was transported to a magical world of music and monsters. The sound design is simply incredible, the graphics are breathtaking, with a vibrant color palette that brings the fantastical puzzles to life. But it's not just the surface-level details that make this game so special. The true brilliance of Monster Cakes lies in its thought-provoking suggestions on society and the human condition. Just like how Heisenberg slowly cooked up his methamphetamine empire, I slowly completed every puzzle the game had to offer. I quickly realized the monster in each puzzle represents a different aspect of human nature, and the way they interact with each other sheds light on the complexities of relationships and power dynamics. I've found myself deep in contemplation, considering the deeper meanings behind the game's mechanics and the lessons it teaches. It's a game that not only provides hours of entertainment, but also challenges the player to think critically and expand their horizons. I'm blown away by the level of creativity and artistry that has gone into this game, and I can confidently say that Monster Cake is a true masterpiece. All in all, Monster Cake is a game that defies all expectations and raises the bar for what a mobile game can achieve. 1000/10

Strangely enough there may in fact be more interesting things happening outside the game than inside… #Monstercakes is a 2017 game from a Russian indie developer which combines a 3-match element with the puzzle slider game called 2048. In the ‘2048’ game which was designed by a 19yr old Italian named Gabriele Cirulli way back in 2014, the objective is to simply slide tiles with the same numeric number into each other doubling their value. You can slide up, down, left and right. Depending which way, you slid the board, all tiles will slide the same way and only those with the same number will combine. After each turn a random tile will appear on the board with the numeric value of 2 or 4. The objective is to create a tile with the score of 2048 and you win. So, the numeric values in 2048 is 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048. #Monstercakes is similar in this way, it also has a progressive combine cake recipe. For instance, 3 white cakes will combine and turn into a purple cake, 3 purple cakes will combine and turn into a green cake and so on. The highest cake is brown and when you manage to combine 3 brown cakes it will explode a 9-block radius and also give you one of 4 powerups available. Allowing you to drag the given power up into the grid and explode all cakes in the direction the arrows are pointing. While the powerups start off and may look random, they actually aren’t. You can only have 4 power ups in total and if you spend one and then manage to match 3 brown cakes, you will be rewarded with the same power-up you just spent. Each power-up is decorated with various directions where it will explode on the board, you cannot have more than the 1 of each powerup. So, the trick to winning this game and never losing is to use one of your powerups just before you match 3 brown monster cakes together. You will then rid the board of nearly all cakes and you will never become overwhelmed. This is how the top player on the leaderboard gets the score he does. Its also crucial to know by heart the progressive colour combination values. It goes like this… White, Purple, Green, Aqua, Red, Yellow, Brown (Brown explodes a 9-block grid) Since there isn’t really much to the game once you know this, it then brings us to the second reason why most people buy this game. Achievements and stickers. There are 118 achievements to this game that will unlock within the first few minutes. Achievement hunters will be happy to know they ALL unlock. On top of this, the achievements contain all numerical values and alphabet letters. This allows players to type out their name or any message they wish to place onto their Steam profiles in the Achievement showcase section. Click on my steam profile if you want to see it firsthand. Likewise, the game also drops 3 random sticker packs a day which are in current circulation. (Note: you must log in and out of a game from menu every 30 minutes though. You can’t just idle). In each pack you will be rewarded with 1 sticker. When you get dupes, you can recycle those stickers for fragments. 1 recycled sticker = 1 fragment. When you have 5 fragments you can trade them in for 1 token. When you get 10 tokens you can trade it in for 1 pack which could be rare, that is to say, a pack which is no longer in circulation. So, putting this all simply. Every now and then, the developer will release a sticker pack for a certain time period. Each day you play you will be rewarded 3 stickers from packs in active circulation. To obtain old stickers no longer in circulation you must either use the token exchange system or buy them at market. Spinners can also only be obtained by token exchange or bought in market. These are animated spinner stickers that will spin when you equip one and hold your mouse button down on them. They won’t work in your steam profile though, but again all the other stickers can be added to your item showcase section in your Steam profile making it that little bit fancier. You can also create your own stickers which must be a transparent 256x256 png file. After you upload them, they get placed in a review queue section where players can vote on which stickers, they want next. The developer then loads these into a pack and integrates them into the game. The players that create the stickers accepted will then get a fraction of the revenue from direct purchases. This is where things get crazy. In the community market there is currently a Christmas stocking sticker for $183.37. Its not animated, there’s nothing special about it. It’s a picture of a Christmas stocking nothing more than that. Unfortunately, players everywhere are all too willing to prey on the curious, the vulnerable, or those with an obsessive compulsion. https://youtu.be/vJrY1eYfHp8 My Reviews: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/6843548/
Sweet Vice
#monstercakes is a match-3 game with adorable monsters and relaxing music. Yes, it’s simple, but in that simplicity lies its addictiveness. You match little monsters of the same type, build combos, score points, and unleash a wave of cuteness that never overwhelms or demands too much.
A good way to pass the time.
Good for getting cool & cute stickers for item showcases but you can get only 3 stickers in a day like if you'd start the game then go to play in the main menu and keep it running in the background while you're busy working elsewhere then under 30 mins or less, it'd grant one sticker but after running a game for at least 20 mins or so, you gotta quit it first and then run it again and start it by the play button in the menu again to get that sticker which you could redeem or open by going to the menu again right after and then going in the inventory and clicking on the packs where the dropped in-game sticker item would show and you gotta unpack it to get the randomly selected sticker from that specific sticker pack, you can get 3 stickers each day by going to the same process which is accessible by going to your Steam inventory to showcase/display in your Steam profile items and items up for trade showcases, I found the stickers quite appealing to showcase so I would give high five! <3 Graphics/visuals: ❌Beautiful/Appealing ✔️Good ❌Decent ❌Very Bad ❌Not specified ❌Close to MS-DOS executable Gameplay: ❌Excellent ✔️Good ❌Average ❌Bad ❌Can't say for sure as it depends Subtitles: ❌English ❌Multi-Language ✔️Not Specified ❌Not at all Audio: ✔️Excellent ❌Good ❌Fair ❌Bad ❌No audio at all Target Audience: ✔️Kids ❌Adults or Teens ❌Adults only 18+ PC Requirements: ❌Very High ❌High ❌Medium/average ❌Low ❌Very Low ✔️Not even necessary to know about Difficulty: ✔️Very Easy ❌Easy ❌Normal ❌Hard ❌Very Complex to learn Story Line: ❌Excellent ❌Good ❌Fair ❌Bad ✔️Not specified Required Game Time/length: ❌Very long ❌Long ❌Medium ❌Short ❌Very Short ✔️Not specified or infinite Price: ❌Free ✔️Low ❌Medium ❌High ❌Very expensive (try on Steam summer/winter sales) Bugs: ❌Yes ✔️No ❌Didn't see any so far ❌Contains with the influx of glitches, bugs & crashes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx0IMk-Cq9g&ab_channel=GamesTrailersChannel

Perfect game for keeping my hands busy while listening to audio books or watching videos. It drops all achievements within a few minutes, has tradable stickers and it's cheap. The only improvement I can think of is a scalable windowed mode to make it fit better with other windows, but that's pretty minor. 9.5/10
#monstercakes
55 Achievements for only opening the Game. Gameplay is funny for a casual round but not in the long run. The Achievements are good for showcasing your name (Like the Letters from the Zup series) Can recommend if you are bored and need something for 30mins to up an hour.

A fun, easy, puzzle game to waste some time in. Match 3 of the same monsters in a row and get the highest score you can until you either lose or want to stop playing. There are easy and fast achievements to get or Steam inventory items (stickers) you can use in your Steam showcases. If you are interested in Steam inventory items this game has x3 drops every 2 days. Steam Inventory Guide

Simple game, simple premise. I don't know what "2048" is, but it's a decent match 3 overall. It does have issues detecting which tile you want to add something to, which can lead to unnecessary difficulties, but even that is a marginal complaint. As far as achievement hunter games go, this IS actually a game, which is a nice change of pace, and a decent way to kill an hour (after which you'll probably be near the top of the leaderboard AND have all the cheevos). Additionally, it does have marketable game items in addition to trading cards. Anyway, it is what it is. Had for $0.49 during any sale, I see no reason not to give it a go.
