Russian Roads Positives: + I like the idea + some cool parts in the map + the other car you unlock + simple graphics + its possible to finish the game in about 2 hours Negatives: - really slow upgrade system - you drive a seriously underpowered car in the first part of the game - physics are so so - you get stuck everywhere (bugs) - the first car jumps and falls over for nothing - you need to drive the same tracks over and over to unlock essential upgrades just to progress - handling is not great - hard to see the next checkpoint - everything feels really slow - almost no sense of speed Another game in the "good idea, bad result" basket. I see the potential, but it needs a lot of work. This game feels more like an early access than a finished product. Total Score: 3.5/10

Definitely worth the money (-90% on sale) and time. Like first person single player stream racer on russian roads. And you can control the car. Kind of.

This is the perfect game.............................to show to someone who asks "why do people think the Unity engine is for bad games?"

OMG, what a horrible and basic game. The sound is grating af and needs to be muted, meanwhile there are only 2 cars and you have to repeat all 12 tracks with each car to complete the game. Don't waste your time. I completed the game though just to get all the achievements. lol.

still not the worst game I ever played... the choice of colour for the check points might actually be the single worst choice in the history of mankind though!

This is one of the WORST indie games I have ever had the dishonor of playing. List of issues: Controls are terrible & awkward No instructions (Controls, etc..) Car & World physics are awful Good tip: Use a GamePad to play this game, much better. If you bought this game, refund ASAP.

Poorly designed. Probably an asset flip. Terrible controls. Massive visual glitching. Awful sound. Another piece of shovelware. Put it back in the turd pile where it came from. https://youtu.be/-4QmZSv4QYw

Note that the painful car handling mentioned in most other, older reviews has been fixed. Drifting is actually fun now, not terrifying. Russian Roads takes under 4 hours to play through, all achievements work, and there's a total of 12 tracks to race on. Audio goes a little screwy sometimes, making the vehicles sound like echoing 50s sci-fi ray guns firing. The physics are mostly good, but collisions can result in flipping and flying way more than expected. A few remaining errors in track object placement and directional gates not lighting up, neither of which impacts gameplay. Shadows no longer twitch like lighting at a rave like some older gameplay videos show. Decent fun for 68 cents. I think this is worth maybe two dollars tops as replayability is limited.

TL:DR: Terrible but hilarious and kind of fun to play. Cons: Absurd physics Mediocre sound Terrible checkpoints around the corner so you don't know which way you're going, The other npc vehicles are faster even after you've applied the 3 torque upgrades Pros Funny AF Achievements Trading cards Computer AI so dumb it's hilarious Hasn't crashed or bugged out Worth the sale price because I'm enjoying it and want to complete it.
