PacaPlus Reviews
The story follows a certain Kazuma Saeki who is living an ordinary high school life. Surrounded by friends, especially his cute girlfriend Yukari Izumi, his school days could not be any better.

Honestly, this is just a cute lil silly visual novel about with alpacas.
Nothing too crazy of visually insane, but just cute and wholesome.
Good voice acting, and I had fun playing and guessing what was going on in the plot.
Dont take it too serious, just have fun~

This game is exactly what you'd expect out of it. Relatively short but 100% worth the price if you get it on sale, silly, and even good production quality, save for a few UI designs. However I don't really recommend getting the game at full price. $10 is enough to get a more in-depth VN with a less cliched story.
The story is pretty well-written as well, if not a little cliche'd if you skip the true and joke ending. The characters are bland, though this can be excused because of the game's novelty and short length.
Also holy shit the bad ending, which isn't tied to an achievement and has one specific choice route, has to be one of the most heart-wrenching things I've ever had the displeasure of reading. They decide to do away with the "dump and retry" method and instead draw it out into the most tragic result possible.
Overall if you want to have fun with a silly little love story for a few hours, this game is a good choice.

I played it because I thought it looked like a meme. It kind of is a meme, is kind of treated seriously too. I think it would've been better off going heavier in one direction or another. There wasn't that much meme content outside of the CGs, and the serious romance based section was kind of whatever.
Despite the main plot being shockingly ok, I really don't think I can actually recommend, regardless of your purpose for buying it.

I bought and played through all Paco Project games available on Steam. Hoping some day I would see the release of PacaPlus Plus. I know now, I will either be spending a lot of with a Kanji OCR program or die a broken lonely man.

This is possibly the best game I have ever played, while it is a bit of a slow start, and I've heard blasphemous complaints about that, it's all extremely vital character building for our flawless alpaca. Even if you do find the intro boring, it all pays off when you finally get that sweet sweet intro cutscene, and see that beautiful alpaca that you've waited so long to see. I personally exploded into pure joy and ecstasy just from sight alone. This truly is a gaming masterpiece with no parallel .

Story is pretty impressive & twisted with those choices, I've tried all da choices in the story & i liked it where they both become alpacas 😭. Music, sound and voices are so good for real, I liked Yukari's Violin play.
[her alpaca form was brainrot]

If you're looking for a fun goofy story, don't get this game.
The game's writing is redundant, repeats itself constantly, you will spend hours clicking through the same information over and over again.
It's one of the poorest written VNs I've played through, that includes free ones. I understand it's suppose to be a "jokey" "funny" game, but having to read the sentence "I can't believe my Girlfriend's an alpaca" in different ways over and over again is just more boring than funny.
Unless you have alot of time to kill, and find seeing the same information being fed into you over and over again as pleasant... I say skip this, and just download a funny game from itch.io for free that will entertain you much more than this slog.

It’s a goofy plot, but it’s also what attracted me in the first place. It was too stupid of concept for me not to try, as I’m a big fan of games that manage to plant their tongue firmly in their cheek. To that extent, Paca Plus delivers. It’s definitely humorous and full of situations worthy of a chuckle. That said, if you’re hoping for any sort of seriousness, touching moments, or gameplay choices, this really isn’t for you.
Pros:
+ Amusing concept
+ Humorous execution
+ Strong audio work
+ Cheap Price
Cons:
- Few story choices
- Laughably bad translation
- Not enough art assets
Neutral
=Short Gameplay
Sometimes the creative capacity of the mind truly terrifies me. If you only pay attention to mainstream video games, you may be unaware of what the independent scene is capable of putting out and how there really is no such thing as too small of an audience. Case in point, Paco Project have brought a different spin to the visual novel genre with Paca Plus, a game that asks players how they would react if they started seeing their girlfriend as an alpaca
Like most quirky visual novels, PacaPlus isn’t long. A complete playthrough to attain its multiple endings should take most players anywhere from two to four hours. Once you get through the main storyline the other endings are pretty quick to collect. Simply be sure to create a save at each dialogue choice to be able to work your way quickly to other endings. Fortunately, a skip feature was included to make the process of completing it simple. It’s worth seeing all endings as they provide reasons for what happened to Yukari, as well as a totally creepy and unexpected ending in one case.
You might be able to tell at a glance, but this game isn’t for everyone. If, like me, you’re going into Paca Plus looking to laugh at an absurd concept, chances are you’re going to be pretty satisfied. It’s one situation where the translation is a plus, adding a B-movie feel to the experience. Those looking for a serious romance or some heart warming monument to love being more than skin deep will quickly find the translation issues to be too much to look past. Maybe the original Japanese story is stronger, but the English translation is no bard’s tale.
Final Verdict 3/5
With middling writing, readers will most likely find themselves playing simply because of the silly premise rather than because they care at all about Kazuma or Yukari’s plight. That’s not awful — but it would have been fantastic to see the second English version of this game offer immensely improved translation quality.
Note:If you find this ridiculous story intriging, then you’ll be glad to know that PacaPlus is cheaper than some other recent visual novel releases.
(I don't usually say this about 2D alpacagals, but that is one nice piece of fleece.)

I think you need to be in a certain mood to play and enjoy this game: it’s very simple and somewhat shorter than I’d expected. Plus there’s the whole “situation” that Kazuma and Yukari are going through. The story certainly isn’t a masterpiece, but if you’re in the mood of reading something silly and cute, PacaPlus can be a good choice.
The art style is very cute together with the BGM, and the VA was good
(I especially liked YukaPaca’s voice lol)
. There’s also just a few choices you have to pick in order to get the 3 different endings. I also didn’t expected at all to read an actual explanation of what happened to Yukari. But well, I didn’t expected to see an Alpaca wearing gym clothes or a dress either.
7/10. I read that there’s a prequel and a sequel to this game, I hope they’ll get an English translation as well!
