metal flashlight is very good and the fungus idol looks sick. got it for free and i think the 1.99 price is worth it.

There isn't really a lot of interesting content here to be honest, an idol that speeds up the monster when nearby (as opposed to the one that slows nearby investigators) and a flashlight that's very similar to the basic one apart of 1 stat point that changes category.
But then, this pack is meant to support the devs of the game, as his name indicates, so thank you for your support.

Got this for backing the Early Access but to be honest now I wish I hadn't. I wanna give the developers all my money so they can make the sequel to one of my favorite horror games, the best game out there. I swear when I heard there was going to be a White Noise 2. I TOLD ALL OF MY FRIENDS and I would not stop bugging them about it. And when it came out I played that thing like there was no tomorrow. And this pack is also really cool. The metal flashlight is basically the basic flashlight but for characters that have standard or above battery management. The fungus is really cool too. So yes basically what im trying to say is. But it so this game can become GOTY and I can brag to my friends about me being there when this game was in early access...

Good stuff, but really pricey.
The Metal Flashlight isn't anything special, really. It's just the Basic Flashlight, but it gives one point in Range instead of one point in Battery Life. The Fungus Idol, on the other hand, offers average Horror and good (6) range, making it better suited for tracking Investigators. If you struggle quickly finding Investigators being detected by higher-range Idols, you're somewhat covered by its trait, SPORES. SPORES lets you move 12% faster when you're within 18 meters of the Idol, allowing you to cover more ground quickly. Really helpful for slow Creatures such as Okiku and Morgul.
It's alright, but the price tag sucks. You can buy Corey and Shaira for almost the same price. Grab this with the Complete Version bundle or if its on sale, it isn't worth the price tag.

Assuming you know the basics of the game, here's my review:
This DLC adds 2 new items to the game:
The Metal Flashlight, which has 5 in every stat with the exception of Range in which it has 6. This makes it a "catch-all" flashlight like the Chinese Lantern, Basic Flashlight, or Traffic Wand. Which basically means you can use it on almost anyone with beneficial results.
And the Fungus idol, which has 5 Horror and 6 Range with a special ability that grants the creature a speed boost when within a certain range of it. Using it in unison with already fast creatures (Like Rusalka) leads to idols getting set up VERY fast due to the movement speed buff you get when near them.
Both of them are pretty solid additions to the game, so go for it. Should also point out that I got the product for free (as did all Early Access backers).
