Great game, I like pretty much everything about it. Especially the western touch. I will say there is a big caveat, you have to enjoy top down turn based games utilizing real time strategy. Other than that, enjoy.

I made it to the end of mission 14 out of 16. Gritting teeth through parts of the last 2-3 missions. If it were half the length I'd have loved it. The extreme narrowness of choice and margin for error starts showing itself more in the later missions. But I really enjoyed the first half. Undoubtedly good at what it does. I like Cursed Crew more; more creative freedom. But then I played that first.

I like the puzzles. The graphics are a bit outdated for 2025.

More a puzzle game than a tactics game. The object is to discover the solution. The early episodes are fun, but then it just becomes a frustrating experience. Loved it at first, but it just became ridiculously difficult.

Great game! Similar to Commandos, but definitely harder. With Desperados there seems to be MANY (maybe random?) paths to success whereas Commando's has a clearly prescribed path the devs intend you to follow. As a casual player, I prefer the prescribed path so I know i'm on the "right" track. For example, in Desperados, any given character can solo a mission (especially Isabella). With Commando's, the devs setup situations where you really need to leverage each characters individual skills in order to succeed.

Great story, great gameplay, great level design, great quality - overall great game. Thanks to developers for this diamond. Will ask Santa to revive the studio.

I know...I'm late the party here. :) I actually got introduced to these games via their latest and final installment: Shadow Gambit. That game is one of my all time favorites, so naturally I had to check out their other titles and Desperados 3 is equally fantastic. RDR2 is an all time great for me, so venturing back into the wild west was a real treat. The gameplay, mechanics, art direction, and even the story in Desperados 3 is just fun. If you're a fan of turn-based iso games you probably have already played this...if you're like me and hadn't yet played and are thinking about it, just do it.

This game really scratches my itch for isometric strategy games. I like the Wild West settings, and the details are really pleasing to look at. The game is challenging though.

wild west shadow tactics. story isn't quite as engaging as blades of the shogun but gameplay is just as fun.

These games always feel so cool and I want to put more hours in, but since it's not my main genre I never beat the last few difficult levels in games like these. Game seems to run great though so I recommend if you're into these.
