Pretty fun game, essentially a puzzle solver where you have to use the right combinations of skills to pass the challenges laid out. There is enough variety to the characters that most puzzles can be approached in a variety of creative ways that will leave you wanting to try again.

Love this game. Reminds me of DOS games I played as a kid in the 90s. Didn't know I would like this genre this much but I can't stop now. Everything about this is so satisfying and the replay value is off the charts. 10/10 will play many times.

Fun little game, a nostalgia blast. All the maneuvers were a lot of fun and all the succesful kills are incredibly rewarding. Especially with showdown mode, when things happen simultanously. The start was extremely fun and rewarding, but at the end it felt a little bit repetitive. The stages did try to change it up constantly, but the gameplay remained pretty much the same. Once you've figured out every single ability and character, you're just going through the motion, nothing new. Not that it's bad, you still had to think and plan every move. One complaint is that guns became pretty much obsolete. They can kill enemies in one shot, sure, but it would alert everybody and their grandma in the vicinity. I had to take a long break from this game because I lost interest in it and it took me a while to finish it. I think the interest in cowboys, being so close to the finish and nostalgia with desperados 1 carried me to finish it. Otherwise would have probably dropped it.

Love this game, the campaign, characters, the smooth gameplay, the atmosphere. It's not an easy strategy game and you'll save and reload a lot. But when a well timed plan works out, it's absolute fun.

Refines and perfects all of the mechanics from shadow tactics, and adds an interesting twist with the focus on guns and sound. It feels so rewarding when a plan to deal with an area comes together. Because of all of the characters and all of their abilities, you can take on any zone in quite possibly thousands of ways... Then, you unlock Isabelle and it turns into hundreds of thousands. I didn't think an indie strategy game would have a holy shit moment, but when the true boundlessness of Isabelle's abilities hit you that's sure what it feels like. Probably the best game Mimimi ever made.

Fantastic game! Nostalgia for the old titles, I, II, and games like the Commandos series help, but it's not a dealbreaker if you haven't played these before. I love that this genre is still well-represented. Gameplay is smooth, precise, characters are varied and the story is well designed. Maps are varied and atmospheric. There's little to no pressure to do things quickly or in a specific way - you make your plays. The challenges are nice with interesting handicaps. Badge hunting is fun and engaging. Kills are rewarding and the execution mechanics are quite nice. Give it a try, it's worth it!

It's not as fun as other games by the same developer. lacks the entertainment and is far more irritating than SG - which was bizzare but almost always gratifying to play. This isn't as enjoyable. But it's older, so I guess they learned from it, which is fair enough.
