Probably the best flight sim ever made. Everything is made in stunning detail, physics are as they should be and how you'd expect them, graphics are extremely good (especially for a flight sim). High learning curve, but it's worth it!

If you like simulators, then this is your kind of game. DCS A-10c Warthog is the most realistic flying military simulator i have come across to date.
All the buttons, switches, and instruments in the cockpit work as they would in real life...(well mabey not EXACTLY like real life, but very close). All the weapon systems, electronics, and even the radios have an unbelievable level of detail to them regarding how they operate.
Fair warning, this game is not for the impatient. It took me about 3 days just to learn how to start the airplane, and i wont even tell you how long it took me to learn how to use all of the weapons.

Warthog is bar far the most impressive sim I have ever played. This is in no way a "game." Be prepared to spend lots of time pouring over the 700pg flight manual (downloadable for free from the developer site) and going through the in-game tutorials over and over, but you will be rewarded with the most realistic experience a civilian can hope for! Full 3D clickable cockpit, fantastic flight model, intricate weapons system detail, random failures and even bird attacks. Forget all your worries when you light up your 30 Mike Mike!

Possibly the greatest creation of mankind. The pinnacle of perfection and the essence of elegance. This is byfar the most streamlined and clean game I have ever played. It runs flawlessly and has graphics that will make you crap rabbit pellets. This game filters out idiots by making the most realistic simulation possible. Althogh the tutorials are absolute garbage, there are plenty of methods to learn the complex systems and features of the A10C-Warthog. Multiple pre-made missions and custom skirmishes challenge even the most 1337 players. There is a constant need for concentration and focus, and if you let your guard down: you're dead. Buy this game if you desire complete immersion and depth.

I can't even play. I start a mission, and it closes then relaunches me saying after relaunch I lost. This happens EVERY time.

Sets the bar on what is called a Simulator. Ive alayes thought of trying Flight Simulator but i figured id be board after i learned how to fly. Add learning combat systems for one of my favorate plane... almost every switch in the cockpit operates.Fullu funktional computers. Its a steep learrning curve for full simulation mode but once you get the hang of it its quite rewarding. there are options for a "Game" mode. A missiion editor and 2 campaigns + multiplayer. A joystick with throttle would be recomended.

I have written 16 pages of instructions and diagrams on just learning on starting up the computer onboard this virtual airplane.I've spent more time parked on the taxi-way, destroying the APU, and restarting the game.
But once you figure out how to start it up, you feel like a motherfucking genius. And not just any genius: a genius with a twin-engined A-10 bomber that can blow your ass from here to Azerbaijan.

This is the most realistic flight simulator available on the market. The DCS series is very complicated and has a very high learning curve, but comes with a high reward for those who master it. I would love for some of you sim enthusiasts to play this with me, It's a lot of fun once you get it down and I want someone to play with.

The game itself is the best flight simulator i know.
Unfortunately is keeps crashing on different systems, more with Nvidia Cards.
This crashes make the game nearly unenjoyable on some systems.
Specs are enough.

Like all the DCS simulations, this requires a large time investment to learn how to fly the aircraft and control the weapon systems, so it's a real accomplishment when you can put everything together and complete a mission. You absolutely have to have a joystick and preferably a separate throttle to get the most out of this game.
