this is like the biggest C+ game i ever played. completely competent and just gets the job done but doesnt particularly excel in anything besides some amusing dialog, and there's nothing really wrong with that it's an extremely tiny game that doesn't waste your time very much and i didn't expect much from it either. there's plenty of signs upfront that this game is super small and i was on the money about that when i played it. the level design and combat are all super shallow and have the weirdest balance of lazily spamming instadeath spikes everywhere so itd be unfairly hard but because of the way your double jump and walljump work as well as death being cheap and healing being cheap and money being easy to get the game ends up being extremely easy to exploit with your basic and no further evolved abilities, so it ends up balancing out with lopsided poorly balanced design. fucking weird i know. overall yeah it's fine the mixed reviews are accurate but i'm still gonna bitch about it being 20 cocksucking shitflinging dollars when this game is nowhere near worth that much: hollow knight's 15 bucks and its 10 times the size of this game. maybe the pricing is konamis fault i dont fuckin know whatever games okay i go to bed
