Worthwhile, short, but a lot of fun. For some a childhood dream came true.

DON'T BUY THIS!!!
I'm sorry but I have to change my review to negative. This game was released to EA in summer of 2017 and still doesn't have any serious updates since that time. I was very patient up to now. Author was still promising on updates early this year but I guess he lied. It is just a money grab for people who don't know that this project is pretty much dead. Just remove it from Steam if you not gonna update it ever and stop taking money from people for this alpha concept with no gameplay. Releasing something to early access, wanting money for it and just leaving it to die is embarasing and shamefull. People interested in ski jumping in VR consider "Ski Jumping Pro VR" as it looks like more of serious project than this but I haven't played it yet so be causious.

Good concept so far, fun to play, and working well. I'd love to see this get more content, both with real life hills and with joke fun hills, like the moon one. Unfortunately I can not currently recommend the game though, as the last update was in 2018, and it seems like this was abandoned and will never get out of early access. I mean, for 5 bucks this is still decent, but it would need more development.

Neat concept but very shallow implementation. The graphics are all very low resolution with very little detail. The game mechanics are amateurish and shallow. It doesn't really feel like you have any actual control. It's just a test of timing of moving your arms and head at certain positions, but otherwise you have no sense of actual skiing. The quality of this game is such that it really shouldn't be a pay title. There are many better games that are free.

Awsome. I highly recommend it, its scary at fist but as yo learn the game and get used to it, within 2 hours I was on number 1 for the first jump. It is very entertaining aswell.

I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers. I had a roomscale setup. I played on the realistic setting. So this game is exactly what it sounds like. You are skiing on a pre-determined track and then jump. You crouch down while you're going downhill and then stand up when you want to jump to get the maximum distance. I think you're also supposed to align your skis in a certain way to increase the distance.
There are no trick jumps (yet). There is no skiing outside the predetermined rails. You can change the skis you have on in the ski shop. If you look at the store description video, that's exactly what you're getting. No more, no less.
Should you get this game? Tough call. There's just not a lot of gameplay here really. You can get a nice workout from having to crouch down and then stand up multiple times. There's the challenge of trying to climb up the leaderboards. There's just not a lot of variety. I'll give a tepid recommendation due to the low price and because the videos are pretty accurate about what you're getting. Make sure this game is for you.
Rating 5/10 I think I had fun, did I? Maybe, I don't know. Would love to see trick jumps added. At least maybe facials if you don't land properly.
