Very well done and beautiful game in the couple hours I play I found that the story was very well done

I played all the Off The Record series games and I'll give them all the same review, since they were not very different from each other (except the story). This game (like all the other ones in the series as well) is very well made, has nice graphics and good playability. This one was a bit longer than the first part of the series. They story is somewhat forgettable and the characters are okay, but overall it's a very nice game to spend 2-3 hours with. Full price sounds a bit harsh considering the amount of content, but best bought when discounted ;)

This is a decent HOG. Didn't irritate me like some of the games in the collection. Oh the shape changing objects are in the HOG scenes, not in the regular areas. That confused me. So I barely found any of them. OK story. Give it a shot if you like this sort of thing.

The game is great, I loved the story, wasn't too hard or too easy. The only complaint I have is how it makes no sense at all how to use some items with another, without the map indicating where I had an action pending or trying by brute force some where just crazy. Overall good game, I bought it on sale!

All the Linder Series are good 1st one is the best though recommend buying on sale

I thought this game was excellent! A lot of the puzzles have multiple parts and vary in difficulty. The hidden objects scenes were well drawn and just the right level of challenge. The plot was also fun and carried the story through to the end.

Amazing game! The perfect balance of story line, puzzles and HOGs. I like adventure games with lots of people to interact with, and this one has quite a few. There could have been a few more locations, but that's knitpicking. The collector's edition bonus game was pretty good too. Overall I wish the game were longer, but that's a compliment. I highly recommend this fun interesting game!

Off The Record: The Art of Deception is the third game in the series. The first thing you'll notice is the beautiful artwork, and this game is about art. A young artist, Lisa Steiner, is forced to forge a famous painting and you, as a journalist will go into an adventure to cover the story and to save the artist who got kidnapped. The story is mediocre but what will keep you playing is to find out who is the one behind all of this. The puzzles were fun, they vary in difficulty but if you ever got stuck in one of them, there is an integrated guide you can check any time. I liked the map design, and luckily there is a fast traveling function in it which minimizes the backtracking in the game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1873688544 What I found tricky is the Collectible items which I missed a couple of them, however, by the end of the game, you'll unlock an extra feature that will allow you to open the scenes and collect all the items you forgot to pick, such as Souvenir, letters, and the paint tubes.
