Total War: WARHAMMER II Reviews

If you like the Total War franchise then you probably would like TW Warhammer. It does add legendary lords from the lore which was a new addition to the franchise, i believe. You need to have a lord to recruit armies, towns now have are permanent garrison, and magic plays a major part in battles. Factions play very differently from each other and lords change how your campaign operates, usually. You can fight naval battles but they are on land so it makes no real difference. There is a lot of DLC for this game so buyers shouldnt expect everything to unlocked for them, unfortunately.

Awesome Total War game, I spend most of my time on Warhammer III these days but switching it up to play this one is always fun.

Its a good game, but i still don't understand why all 3 games are priced the same. It makes absolutely no sense. Its just greedy so while i do recommend playing the game I would only buy it when its on sale. As much as we love playing these games we need to remind the publishers that WE have the power and WE set the price.

I really like this genre of Total War Warhammer. The Units Style and behaviours like the cherished Lore. It could only be better if they made Total War Warhammer 40K! Please do it.

For a game priced at $74.89 including its DLC on Steam in my region, Indonesia, I think this game is very worth playing. I admit this game is very crazy, unique and hard to describe this game really meets all my crazy expectations for the gameplay, I recommend this game, friends, try playing it, it's confusing at first but when you learn it over time from YouTube and Google tips, you will know the gameplay of your game, my favorite faction is skavennnn.

Warhammer 2 is a pretty decent addition to the Total War Warhammer Series. It has cool Factions, a decent Map, and pretty decent Campaigns. And while I do prefer the first game for it's Map and Factions, I will say that Warhammer 2 is still a pretty solid buy if you like the Warhammer and Total War Franchises. (Especially if you get it on sale) Also, if you own both Warhammer 1 & 2, this game has a Special Game Mode called "Mortal Empires", which combines both games' Maps and Factions into one large map. On this large map, you can play a faction from either game, including DLC Factions which you bought for Warhammer 1. Which is a decent feature in my book.

The Best of the TW Warhammer Series. Still perhaps a little too difficult, and you can end up 100+ hours in with an unwinnable campaign, just because of events outside your control. In addition a lot of the games require you to be able to win battles outnumbered and outclassed by a long way. That requires a lot of micro-management skill, or hours of stop/starting. It is just a shame that the developers, obviously good at there own game, haven't the self-awareness to pitch the game at a wider audience. The game got harder and harder with every expansion, even on the lowest difficulty levels. It is also silly how the AI pays stupidly little maintenance on units which makes factions owning only a single minor settlement to support 2 entire armies, when the player is still unable to afford a second army with 2 entire provinces. It really does make the campaign incredibly difficult to get going without the gold exploits. At the end of the day though, it is easier to throw many units at the player than write a decent battle AI, to challenge the best players. This is a problem for a lot of games, who use the DLC model. Your target is the invested player so you can sell DLC to them, not new players. Unfortunately, this has ruined the PC game market in general, and there are no good games for players new to PC games.

I don't recommend this game....unless your have Warhammer 1 and it's DLC's. Some of the content in this game are "Free" but only if you have Warhammer 1 and the appropriate content for it, essentially reilquiring you to buy WH1 and all of it's content also which was misleading when I bought the game and unless I'm just stupid and didn't see it I don't think it's stated anywhere you need to purchase WH1 to access x content. Other than this the game is fine but almost none of the factions available were all that interesting to me except a couple.
