this game is a freaking blast once you get the hang of it also anything you have from the previous game you can use in this so if its on sale you should get this game

You like or hate it, game feels extremely overwhelming from beginning to late stage, but personally battles are biggest problem, limited to 2 stances with 20 different parts of army to somehow manage, if AI would have at least 1% of own thinking except running away and not break groups doing absolute mess blending in trees it would be totally different. Game is not bad but gameplay just depends purely on person its not real time strategy like any other, its just own kind

Awesome game, been playing total war games since the original Shogun total war from the 90's. This one is the best since first Rome total war game. The unit variety and the differences between the factions makes replayability so much easier and so much more fun. Add the hero mechanics and spell mechanics to the overall experience, you got your self a winner. Some might claim the third installation of the game is better but I think this one is superior for now (dont know the future improvements for the third one). Dont hesitate to try it.

It's one of my favorite RTS games. There are so many different aspects that add enjoyment to playing it. For me it is the modern and more realistic version of Heroes of Might and Magic.

The apex of strategy gaming. Recently purchased WH3, and after 3 years of updates it still doesn't compare.

Better than warhammer 1 but overall worse than older games like Shogun 2. Is it fun. Yes. Is it interesting to play. No. Its just very repetitive gameplay. Factions like Skaven and Lizardman are incredible its sad there are only 4 races and unit varaiety isn't the best. Best thing i can say is the sound quality. Skaven voicelines are in my opinion the best, it adds nice touch to the game.

An epic blend of deep strategy and massive battles. Each faction offers unique mechanics, making every campaign fresh and engaging. With stunning visuals and intricate gameplay, it’s a top-tier Total War experience.

This game still has serious balance issues at each point in the game. I'm not even going to bother trying 3.

All around solid game if you enjoy this genre whatsoever. Can take some time to get used to it if you haven't played Total War games before, but it is totally worth it.
