Short fun experience but gets repetitive quite fast. Also too simple; kids would have more fun with this game. For full price barely worth its money; I recommend to buy during sale.
(+) Art style is nice
(+) Drolly narrative around cats and dragons. But I did not understand why there were dragons that you had to fight, it would have been cooler for this setting to fight against evil dogs.
(-) A lot of equipment can be found but most of it is useful since there is only one combat style.
(-) Combat is too simple
(-) The game is repetitive quite fast
(-) Most achievements are hard to get since you have to replay the full game

Purfect, Ameowzing
You got the gist, the game is fun, good story with a lot of Cat word play.
If you focus the main quest, it's probably 3h length. 6h if you try to do all the caves and side quest on first playthrough. If you look for all the achievements, you are probably at 15/20h

This is a fun game that is super easy to learn. It has it's difficult moments but overall quite a laid back experience. Cat Quest reminds me of my old SNES days, kind of a Zelda type hack n slash. Tons of cat related puns so it keeps you smiling. Basic equipment types, swords, battle axes, staves, but a number of each kind with their own buffs and debuffs. Definitely worth buying especially on sale. It took me about 7.5 hours to complete the main quest and about an extra hour to complete what was left of the 62 sidequests. Overall I'd give it a solid 8/10.

That's a very cute and very light entry to action-rpg genre. The characters and the environment are marvelous. Gameplay mechanics are simple yet fun. My daughter (7) finished it all by herself, so there is no complexity whatsoever. The second game reuses most of the content from this one, which proves this first game has little to complain about.

Cat Quest is exactly what it appears to be ... a faithful recreation of Skyrim, complete with Dragonborn cat people. Just a lot more concise. Seriously, though, it's cheap and quests can all be completed in less than five minutes. There's a lot going on in a compact play time. Much more engaging than the graphics might lead you to believe.
