I really love the new characters. Blue Mary is awesome, great addiction, and the nostalgia of playing Oswald, its worth my money.

SNK Fans playing KOF 13: "So did Oswald die?" SNK: "Check out all these badass fighters for 14!" Fans: "Where's Oswald?" SNK: "Oh come on he was just a one-off." Fans: "We want Oswald!" SNK: "We just needed a guy in cool glasses. Don't think too hard about it." Fans: "Oswald! Oswald!" SNK: "Rock?" Fans: "OSWALD!" SNK: "Fine here's your fuckin' Oswald!"

I don't really think this is worth it. The first upgrade pack came with more content then this one, and also better characters. (I'm not a fan of any of these characters but Najd is kinda cool) If it came with less content it should have been lowered in price a bit. Only buy if you really like one of the characters.

[h1] The 3.0 update is free, and adds : [/h1] [b]-[/b]a new stage ( Mas mak fort, a historic fortification at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) [b]-[/b]4 new special themes (ralf vs k', shun'ei vs kukri, classic kyo vs classic iori, classic iori vs classic kyo) [b]-[/b]rebalancing for the whole cast (patch notes can be found [url=https://www.snk-corp.co.jp/us/games/kof-xiv/news/KOF-XIV_patch_ver.3.00_en.pdf] in the official snk site[/url] ) [h1] But this paid dlc adds 4 new characters, each with it's own new theme: Oswald, Heidern, B. Mary and Najd [/h1] [b]-[/b]Oswald was one of Ash team members (kof XI), and is the one with the least changes in moveset. Pretty much untouched outside of new ex moves and adjusted damage output. Still extremely strong. [b]-[/b]Heidern is Leona's father, and the original leader from Ikari team (kof 94-5). He lost his command counter (624k) and jump grab ([2]8 k). In turn, he received a run-into crossup (624k), a move with autoguard (623p, same animation as his old 5cd), a new super that plants a very active stationary projectile in the screen that let's you do a mixup or extend combos very easily (214 214p) and a climax based on the jump grab, but much faster. The new 5cd is more functional too (the old one became a special move, and it had a tendency of missing on crouched chars). All around, he received lot's of changes but is stronger than ever before. [b]-[/b]B. Mary was originally a newcomer from fatal fury 3 (together with yamazaki, franco, bob) and this time she is based around her original incarnation, both in moveset and musical theme (like kof14 yamazaki). She even have her original ff3 color scheme as the alternate pallet 5. If you are familiar with kof 98umfe Ura B.Mary (red name in screen) you will be at home with her. [b]-[/b]Najd is a completely new character. She have a rekka (236p 624p 6p), a command counter, a reverse edge style dropkick, a command grab and her jc is a dedicated crossup button. Very very versatile in moveset, and with a cool/mysterious visual. The concept of both her and the new stage were selected among 300 entries in a competition at Misk Global Forum. Highly recommend this dlc.
