Very good game. It's visually appealing, game-play is solid, the characters and story are amazing. A hearty 25 hour affair, longer if you're looking for the 100% mark, especially blind. If you have the time, the game is very much worth your dollar.

One of the funnest games that I played in 2024. I know it was released a long time ago but it was awesome. It reminds me a big of LOZ:TP with how Ammy handles and the combat's fun and punchy. The art is also amazing along with the story, quite fun and I highly recommend

When this game came out, I was too young to be able to play this game so unfortunately I never got to play it until I got older. However, it was well worth the wait. I never really had heard of Okami until the announcement of the sequel during the game awards. With everyone's reactions I took it as a sign to give the game a try and see what the hype behind it was all about.
It very much lived up to it's expectations, the mechanics are so unique and creative with great story telling and enjoyable world. It's honestly a game that I think most people should play. It's something truly special that I personally don't think has been replicated at all.
I recently finished 100%'ing it and now I can confidently say that I will be buying the sequel day one because this game is a literal treasure.

Okami has a very unique fighting and puzzle solving system which gave me very lasting memories since the Wii era. It's a fun take on Japanese mythology and having absolutely amazing music. The characters are fun and interesting, and the world layout is simply massive.

This is a PS2 hidden gem, with a unique art-style.
Use Helix Mod, Reshade and Lossless Scaling (60fps!) for a better visual experience.

Amazing, as one would expect, definitely recommend.
(I also definitely recommend having a controller for this game as I've found mouse and keyboard can be kinda wonky and make execution of various maneuvers more difficult.)
Okami HD is a timeless masterpiece that holds a special place in my heart, having first played Okamiden on the Nintendo DS as a kid.
The art style is still gorgeous, and the Celestial Brush mechanic is super fun and satisfying. The story is filled with heart, humor, and cool mythology, making it an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re new to the game or revisiting it, the HD version looks amazing and is totally worth playing. If you love great storytelling and beautiful gameplay, this is a must-try!

Beautiful game. The art makes it just perfect, they were going to originally do realistic graphics which would have made it probably forgettable, but it's unique art and Zelda like gameplay, makes far and above one of the most unique and best games of it's kind,

this game definitely isn't for everyone (hell i never would've touched it if it wasn't a childhood favorite), but you may want to give this one a shot if you like old ps2/gamecube games that are kinda clunky but still a ton of fun. story is good, characters are engaging, and damn this game's style is something else; the setting, soundtrack, art style, and everything else about this game all mesh together beautifully to create an experience that i hadn't seen before at 8 years old and haven't seen since at 23.
phenomenal game overall imo, kinda peters out towards the end for me but the vast majority is enjoyable. definitely recommend it if you think you might like it.
