Nice idea but bad implementation. It's too hard to make money. I reached 40 years old and still couldn't invest in anything at the market. I think I need to unlock the economic advisor but he costs $800,000 and it took me until I was 40 years old to make a measly $150,000. I'm pretty sure this dude could have made more than that in the same amount of time while working as a janitor. I might be doing something wrong, but there is no tutorial and the help menu is crap.

A truly fantastic little experience. Easily one of the best if not THE best 'clicker' game out there. Lots of humour, very addictive, a perfect hour spent!

Get your solid gold suit out of the wardrobe and be ready to negotiate harder than Trump on steroids because this game is.... not worth £4. Maybe £1, but aside from being able to buy the world there's not much here.

This game is essentially a rather fun George Soros simulator. The goal here is to monopolize literally everything that can be monopolized, by buying market shares from different industries. In this way the gameplay is quite similar to AdVenture Capitalist, only here you have a set time limit (your life expectancy), so you'll need a strategy if you want to own everything as quickly as possible (hint: start with media). Apart from that, there are various mini-games that can help you get more cash, or regain popularity that is lost by failing to address scandals and controversies (they arise as a result of buying market shares from marked industries). Overall, this game is preety fun, even if quite short, and also has some good satirical references sprinkled here and there to boot.

Fun game. Took only about an hour to monoploize every industry in the world; but it was a good time. Excellent humor and good value for the price; very inventive.

A small but perfectly formed penis, I mean game. I completed it in around an hour, but it's packed with so many jokes and easter eggs that I'm gonna have to replay a few times to catch em all. For the price I can't recommend it enough

I have never been a fan of the clicker genre, but Megalomaniac is the first to make me openly fall over in laughter, and the first game in a long time to leave me cracking up. There's some very smart incorporating of mechanics with larger ruminations on the consequences of wealth disparity and late stage capitalism. All in all, a fantastic yet incredibly education little game.

I didnt realise it was a clicker, thought maybe it was like a choices game with a story. Its meh... It didnt take long to beat. 99p is probably fine, i would give it neutral if i could.

The game cost me £0.99 and I ended up owning the world in less than an hour. What's not to like? Didn't half give my powerful computer a good workout too. The fans were really spinning by the time I was looking at my name above Rupert Murdoch. Fun way to kill an hour. Took me two attempts to buy up the world. Lesser beings might get more out of it.

Well, I put a little over an hour into this game and finished it, here's my thoughts. Fun game, I really liked the concept.. feels a bit like Plauge Inc, but more time spent in menus than looking at the map. I liked the humor, and twisting my Dad's arm for more money, buying the world was neat, and I liked the feeling of slowly taking it all over.. which comes to my only real beef with the game. It's TOO FAST!! Not so fast that I couldn't keep up, but too quick for me to really read the stock options I had, or to feel like I was doing much more than clikcing as fast as I could before my poor avatar died of old age.... which he did, dreams unrealized because I spent 4 minutes reading the menus. lol, anyway that's my only complaint. I hope the devs keep working on it and adding things... so if you see this, please add in an option to make the years last a little longer. I want to be able to gloat as my fortunes begin to exceed everyone else's on the list. Do I recommend this game? Why yes I do... totally worth the asking price.
