Oh Boy!!! I’ve been trying to find ways to boost up my achievement %, which means I need to play some more games, and well…. Get achievements in them. This search brought me to the game Sweetest Monster, which seemed like a pretty decent idea, 3 unlockable achievements, and had no choices to be made. Seems like a great option to help me grow my E-peener. Story – You are Robin Hawkins an average everyday man, a wife that barely tolerates him, a daughter who doesn’t talk with him and a job that he mostly hates, I’m pretty sure his life is almost what every 40-year-old man’s life probably looks and feels like. One day during a random walk Robin meets up with a mystery girl, does he know her, what does she want, is she really only “15 or something” I mean the pedo vibes are real in this game. Gameplay - You read and press the button to get to the next scene. No need to play with one hand as the game gets about a 1 / 10 on the fap-o-meter. Zero choices and the game will last 1 ½ to about 2 hours Pro’s - Interesting concept, Easy 100% Compared to other visual novels, well written Con’s - Too short The Ending (oh boy, that ending. Although maybe if you’re that guy it could be a pro) 1/10 on the fap-o-meter, you won’t’ be cranking one out to this game Recommendation - This is a hard game to recommend, not because it’s poorly written or badly translated, in fact this game is really well written, and the drawings are pretty on point. The storyline while interesting seems to really tow the line between what is and isn’t decent. I can suspend disbelief about somethings, but the girl really gives off minor vibes, (doesn’t help when she dons a school girl uniform) I mean I know the game makes it a point to say she’s GENERALLY much older, playing the game just kind of makes you feel dirty, like watching Stanley Kubrick’s Lolita, or Blue Lagoon or even Sweet Sweetback. It’s just you really feel like you need a shower... Then the ending hits you and you’re like, Jesus #$@#$.. So I’d recommend this if you are comfortable with feeling kind of greasy after you play a game, feeling like you did it but you probably shouldn’t have done it. The price of 5.99 for 2 hours isn’t the worst price to content ratio ever, and the 100% completion % and +1 to game count certainly doesn’t hurt. It’s more a matter of whether or not you’re comfortable with the content and potential sexualization of Teenaged/High school girls (Even though it’s not technically a teenaged or high school girl) Either way I’ll recommend this game but with WARNINGS!!!
