Trailmakers has given me some of the best sandbox experiences you can get when it comes to creativity, competition, and collaboration. But unfortunately, those amazing moments are almost always loomed over by the bad. In the case of this game, this means multiplayer and overall game stability. Most of these bad moments are related to multiplayer servers, as they are in dire need of work. A prominent bug right now is when someone joins the server, there is a high chance it will just simply crash as soon as the player joins. Another bug being, when someone leaves the server, there is a chance the server will start going slo-mo for no reason. These are issues that, if addressed, will make the game feel so much more optimized and well made then it feels right now. QOL features and fixing annoying PROMINENT bugs can really go quite the distance when it comes to player feedback. This game has flaws & bugs, most of them being just minor annoyances that don't necessarily destroy your user experience. I can deal with those, but I CANT deal with constant server crashes & bugs that completely destroy the user experience. For now, I will keep it as not recommended as i don't think that new players will enjoy the constant server crashes, and the bad QOL that don't make the game enjoyable to play anymore. For people who don't care about multiplayer i 100% think this is a fun game and you should buy it and spend time on it. I really hope this is seen by the devs because this game has potential, it just needs to be refined! also for people saying that its hypocritical to mark the game as "not recommended" and have over 1500 hours in the game, its okay to have an opinion on something that you have spent tons of time on. As in that case, the person who has spend over 1500+ hours in the game might have a more mature opinion then someone who has 30 hours.

this game was good until they started making actual needed blocks behind dlc paywalls. unless you are willing to spend a significant amount of money on this game you will not have access to essential blocks.

Such an L game, its not what i expected at all, the videos make it look better Workshop doesn't even work because when you download something it won't even let you spawn it in Even if you make ur own stuff and if you join somebody elses match it won't even let you use it, big waste of time Tried contacting the devs to fix my issue but nothing don't waste your money i want my refund

Career mode sucks a lot not gonna lie. Depends a lot of dlcs. Game itself pretty cool.

The game was very good, until this PvP 2.1 update and some others in the past as well. What happened in this update was a moral crime. Functional blocks and good weapons in a paid DLC. The biggest problem is that the paid blocks are better and irreplaceable (this is called pay-to-win). I'm not against DLCs or them making money. I'm against them putting functional and good blocks in DLCs. Imagine a Minecraft where to get iron tools or higher, you would have to pay. That's unfair. Players who pay shouldn't have a competitive advantage. (We want justice).

The game is a good way to learn the essence of mechanics, it can also bring light to a more creative side of gaming. Overall i would recommend this to anybody who want to build funky trinkets and nick-naks

good game and i love it and the community that comes with it, but recently, the DLCs turned to pay2win, because they included a lot more functional blocks, and that ruins the game for everyone that only has the core game, or cant afford new DLC every time. when you have the DLC the game is an absolute masterpiece, but it should be a masterpiece for anyone who bought the game.

It is starting to fell like every update is just a DLC. I cant even play PvP in normal servers anymore because thr people who have enough money will allways have better weapons. This needs to change Trailmakers =(

its a nice game and stuff but my old laptop cant handle it after it updated for some reason pls fix optimization

Developers blatantly ignore player requests and continue to add $10 DLC every single update. Even when I complained in the discord I got banned so I guess freedom of speech doesn't apply there either.
