I love this software because it is easy to use but I am found that some missing feature in this software. I hope that Punch can update and fix this game.

I absolutely love this software. It very easily allows me to plan construction/remodeling for the properties I own.
The estimator really helps in planning project costs.
Please note you should probably have a grasp of general building concepts in order to use this software.

I like the features it has compared to punch pro architecture, makes it a lot easier to use. A new user will need to play with it for awhile and play the help me videos and you will catch on quickly. Definitely DYI friendly.

To a casual user, skip this one. If you're willing to spend days learning and becoming comfortable with the basics it appears as though you may be able to get some great results.
As someone who only occasionally works on projects like this, drawing every line for every board and element manually in Sketchup is somehow an easier and faster experience than using this program that's supposed to auto generate a lot of things for you.

Really useless version. Can't do more than half the menu options as they remain grayed out. Can't change room elevations, can't change basement exterior. No upgrade path with this version. Ultimately second thought bullshit.

Useless if I can't save projects. Why is everything greyed out including save? Why do none of the solutions in the Discussions for the many problems seem to work? This is a buggy mess.

I've worked with Autocad and Microstation in the past which on a limited bases, This software has some similar napping features, though on a very conservative bases, which is nice. I like this software, however, the Constant refreshing, which in turn stops what ever I am working on at that time, so the program can refresh, is beyond annoying. Trying to place a wall, half way through, software refreshes, wall is now in middle of living room, Click another button to move wall. Though I suspect this could be due to some setting I may not be aware of, or so I hope. other than that, I really like this program and would recommend it to others.

This Software is possibley one of the better products for Building Design that I have used ever. Almost every item required for basic build is included in the basic Pack.
It would be nice if the Dev's were able to include more Items as a update to the Pack. In the landscpe section there is a real shortage of Fencing and path design But other that that This is a fantastice addition to any keen designer who needs to create landscape or Buildings!

It does what is described in it's store page. If you find it on sale I think it's worthwhile.... It's a little buggy for me but it could just be my computer.
Building a new house and this made it pretty easy to lay out some psuedo dimensions and see how I could put the space together. Solved a lot of problems ahead of time, things like plumbing wouldn't line up or be able to go through a certain space. Closets run into bathroom not giving enough room to close a door, etc etc.

Not giving up on it yet, but here are my complaints:
Way too limited in the measurements. Hallways, for example, cannot go less than 81 cm. Also, I could not figure out how to (or simply cannot) adjust the grid parameters to better fit the measurements I'm desiring. I live in Japan where houses are measured by Jo and Tsubo, which both convert to very abstract metric measurements. Hopefully someone can instruct me how to do so...
Another thing; On 2D planning, when adjusting size of a room, the screen goes blank (white) and I have to wait a couple secs for it to come back before you can try to adjust the size again in hopes that it won't go blank again. I have an i7-490k, 16Gbs of RAM, a GTX980, and an M.2 SSD. If this is a hardware problem, I can only imagine it being worse for someone who has a medium to low-grade PC.
