Update #1 03/17/2020: The fall damage problem has been fixed. The game is still really buggy and I still don't feel I can recommend it in it's current state but it is definitely closer to a "recommend" than I thought it would be at this point. At the very least, it's kind of playable at this point and you can make some progress.
Fundamentally broken in just about every way imagineable. I thought the game couldn't possibly be as bad as the other reviewers made it out to be. I was wrong. It was even worse.

#CONFUSING#
So, the Rest House is an early access horror game puzle with a nice atmosphere and music. But there is many of things that need to be fixed. For example:
1. To many empty spaces. (Game has rooms with nothing in it, just walls and some mist)
2. Planty of bugs and messed up textures. (especially hate messed up font)
3. Game doesnt have a control manual, so I accidentally quit the game all over again and redo all my progress.
4. Save button doesnt save game, like seriously :D
5. Sometimes sounds are too loud and its uncontrollably.
Okay, now move to the good part.
1. Really nice and catchy music. (I want soundtrack from this game if its original)
2. When rooms are actually filled with something, it looks pretty good.
3. Although it was confusing and sometimes silly, I got scared twice or more. :D
So, thats all, I hope this game gonna be a lot better with time and I will come back and play it again.

The experience is great, so mysterious and you get to unravel it bit by bit. The design is gorgeous and the graphics are great. Assets honestly fit together and are well combined. I like how the idea of this game is to be a adventure type game but what I also like is the mix of having it as a platform game which makes it more exciting. It feels so good to finally solve a level after all that dedication!

I find this one hard to rate actually. I kinda like the crazy random visuals and since it's early access I don't want to be too harsh. But there were 3 aspects that annoyed me too much to give it a thumbs up:
First, if you just get a description of what to do to solve a puzzle, it's not really a puzzle anymore.
Second, Wtf is this fall damage? Falling 4 floors down without getting damage and then, on the other hand, loosing 20hp when just jumping on the spot? I don't get it.
And third, please don't use stairs which you can only climb by jumping every 2 steps! It's just annoying.
So all in all, I stopped playing in the third chapter after dying from a combination of those stupid stairs and random fall damage...
I look forward to give this game another go though :) ... if it ever gets finished.
Best wishes.

Not even a game. SERIOUSLY.
Don't trust positive reviews. The game was a collection of 4 rooms thown together with random assets, very little of it was actually interactable. None of it was scary.

I am all for supporting early access, but when the developer clearly copies from major franchises (Bioshock) and charges $5 for a game with no actual content it makes them seem like a massive scammer.
This game has no playable content at the moment. Consisting of 5 maps that feel like the love baby of a childs time whilst playing Garys Mod. This game has nothing to offer.
The developer has shoved in several key hunts, whilst an audio book from Don Quixote plays. Nothing in the game makes sense and not in a surreal way. In a pathetic attempt to make a video game.
Don't bother....
