Alright, I enjoyed this game. It's genius. I loved listening to Alan Watts. I finished it in about 7 hours, 70 percent of 'things' unlocked and listened to every audio tape of Alan. But then i checked the achievements and noticed I had 4 left, one being the "unlocked every achievement - achievement".
#1 No such things - Okay, no big deal. Basically two achievements left.
#2 Destroyer of worlds - Alright, this is getting a bit ridiculous.
#3 Big thinker - There is a special place in hell for the person coming up with this achievement.
For a game, this beautiful, in it's own essence... You come up with two of the most tedious achievements I've ever seen in a video game. I am not going to recommend this game because it's an extraordinary bait. Look at my play time now man, ruined the experience. I platinum'ed games like Ghost of Tsushima, SOTC, GoW (3, 2018, Ragnarok), Assassin's Creed (Origins, Odyssey), Prince of Persia (whole franchise)... Only for this game to take a piss at the concept of an achievement.
You know what would be great? Let's make everyone try destroying their GPUs, or even better let's make them not play this game. Let's make them autoplay for 10 hours. The part of the game, that you should PLAY to get an achievement, forget that. Enjoy the psychedelic golden gate screensaver. - Alan Watts cca 2017.

I'm just not an Alan Watts guy I guess. It's hard to stomach "every living being is carrying the energy of the big bang" new-age rhetoric in an age of conflict and widespread catastrophic environmental destruction by an often democratically elected elite. As an English teacher, the whole "What's an object? It's just a noun! It doesn't actually exist as distinct from a verb" shit just has me rolling my eyes too. Gameplay is as shallow as Watts' rhetoric - you literally just wander around waiting for stuff to happen. Generally that's not something I have an issue with - I really like LSD: Dream Emulator - but the mechanics are really clunky, everything is like an infinite procedurally-generated loop and the triggers for progress are completely random as well. Very much a spectacle-over-substance affair, but even the spectacle isn't particularly impressive compared to something like Oikospiel, a far superior game this reminds me of a lot.

This game is ART. It can be almost a religious experience. It made me giggle. It made wonder in awe. It made me sob at the beautiful pain of existence. I'm not exaggerating.
Alan Watts is the GOAT.
Also: Be a whale in outer space! A+

it is very beautiful, but it just wasnt for me no matter how much i wanted it to be made for me, i didnt enjoy it bar the first 15 minutes when u first can change in to anyone and make sounds which was very cute.
it could be because im so cooked in terms of how much dopamine i need to get that when i get a game which is just very chill i cant enjoy but yeah, not for me, and thats okay.
very slow game and i couldnt navigate on what i needed to do, which i know is the point, but it also at some point discourages to play
