(EN) The Doctor Who Cloned Me is an excellent add-on pack to the very good game Duke Nukem Forever. It's much more fun than DNF, with better dialogues, more interesting Boss fights and lots of good laughs. Moreover, Duke is a real gentlemen towards women this time around and this is a big plus. If you like DNF don't miss out on this excellent extra material!
(GR/EL) Το The Doctor Who Cloned Me είναι ένα εξαιρετικό πακέτο επέκτασης για το πολύ καλό Duke Nukem Forever.

I recommend this DLC to those who like the main 'Duke Nukem Forever'.
I'm sure you will like this one too.
Good things:
The game still good.
The jokes a little bit less but I was still enjoyed.
New types weapons.
Bad thing:
Maybe too short. But for me that was enough.

First off, I LIKED Duke Nukem Forever, I really did. It wasn't groundbreaking in any way but it was fun and refreshingly different in the sea of serious and super serious war shooters, RPGs and whatnot. Sadly I can't say the same thing about this DLC.
The levels are mostly part of a bland sterile underground sci-fi complex which feels like almost any other shooter ever and all the encounters are completely unoriginal and unexciting. The campaign's rhythm is so off, it feels like a walking simulator where you're rewarded with several enemies to gun down whenever you've made a fair amount of progress walking and solving simple environmental puzzles. No encounter seems to last more than a minute.
Later on you have a super short section on the surface, which is just more of the same (but worse) as in the base game. The finale takes place on the moon, which sounds promising but is actually just a very underwhelming vehicle section. Also the humor is just more of the same and has gotten really old, I've had maybe two good laughs.
As for Dr. Proton's glorious return: he's unspectacularly killed off in a ridiculously easy boss fight half-way through the DLC and not even given a chance to become a cool and recognizable villain. No ace up his sleeve, no "I will get you next time, Nukem!", just *poof* dead, move on. Don't even get me started on the actual ending.
Where those positive reviews come from, which state that the DLC is what DNF should have been: I have no idea. The Doctor Who Cloned Me is a compilation of everything that was meh in the base game. It's bland, boring and criminally short. I didn't track the time but I believe it was approximately 3 hours of content in my case (and I tend to take my time). You're really better off just giving the base game another go.
I can't comment on the multiplayer content as all servers I've found were limited to the base game's maps and ones from the Hail to the Icons DLC. My guess is that unless you take it on yourself to organize a group to play specifically this DLC's maps you won't ever see them.

The Doctor Who Cloned Me is the only substantial DLC that Duke Nukem Forever got. If you own DNF for whatever reason, it's actually worth playing, but it's not at all worth picking up DNF itself just to play it. That's pretty much why I'm thumbing it down despite it being halfway enjoyable.
Gameplay and level design are generally better than the base game. There's still some blech first-person platforming, but even the vehicle sections feel better, especially the last one. Despite this however, the game still apparently wants to be Half-Life 2, complete with little walking simulator-type sections, as well as crane and teleporter sections of its own.
TDWCM's new weapons are decent enough to use; a small point in the grand scheme of things but one that should be pointed out nonetheless. The Impregnator has infinite ammo as well as arcing shots and does surprising damage to enemies, while the Expander is powerful if you use it well.
The first half of the story is actually kind of...dare I say it, good. I almost don't want to spoil it, but it's still Duke Nukem Forever, so I will. After the events of the base game, Duke is kidnapped by Dr. Proton, the villain from the very first Duke Nukem game, so he can create an army of Duke clones to defeat the still extant aliens - and take over the world after the aliens are disposed of. Duke ends up in a repurposed robot facility among both Terminator-esque robots and robotic Duke clones. (Also Captain Dylan is back somehow.) The second half of the game, which ties up the plot of the main campaign, doesn't quite reach the same "heights" but it's not terrible either.
It's still pretty crass and it doesn't try terribly hard to rise above cringiness, but there's nothing disgusting and horribly offensive like in the base campaign. A woman character who appears late in the DLC is a scientist who appears to be on equal terms with Duke. Granted she's very conventionally attractive and is also running a brothel, but whatever.
Unfortunately, despite being overall better than the original game, TDWCM ultimately can't escape the original game. You still end up encountering the same muddy, generic enemies from the original game and fighting them with the same mostly mediocre-or-just-off-feeling weapons and the same iffy movement/shooting mechanics. And, of course, you have to purchase Duke Nukem Forever to play it. While it's still a better send-off for the Duke Nukem franchise than you'd expect from DNF, it's still ultimately an average experience tied to a bad game.
As for the included multiplayer maps, I can't really comment on them except to say that while they sound like they might be fun, MP in this game is the domain of a handful of diehards who will kick your butt. They probably only play a handful of maps anyway.

This is how Duke Nukem Forever is supposed to be: A lot more platforming, perfect humor and well made boss battles (Dr. Proton & Alien Empress). Took me ~4 hours on Come Get Some difficulty with all Ego Boosts.

Duke Nukem Forever: The Doctor Who Cloned Me
For $10.00, this is a decent little DLC (compared to other $10.00 DLC), offering:
2 new weapons
3 new vehicles
4 new enemies (two bosses)
4 new multiplayer maps
10 new achivements
This is also a pretty long experience, taking me 3 hours to beat the 14 levels on easy difficulty.

In the main game, Duke saves the world but not the women.
In this DLC, he redeems himself and saves both the world and the women.

This single player campaign DLC is way better than the original Duke Nukem Forever game.
- More of a coherent story
- better pacing
- Villains are more present in the game
- perfect length(my opinion)
- Better characters
- More weapons
- More enemies, including Terminators and Robot Dukes
Aside from having the same terrible loading screens that the original DNF had, this Single player expansion is very good and sends DNF off on a high note.

3.8 hours, fairly enjoyable and had some genuinely amusing moments. I don't think it's worth $10 but on sale for $2.50 it was totally worth it! (Also, the new brothel scene was very satisfying)

Reposting my review on the DLC page since Steam now allows you to review DLC again.
Honestly, why wasn't this the DNF campaign in the first place? It's funnier, less annoying (the babes in here look better, and don't all use the same annoying voice) and it just "feels" more like Duke. There's a platforming part, where even though it still feels weird due to DNF's clunkyness, is still fun. The fact that you are killing Dr. Proton, the villain from the first Duke before Duke 3D is pretty neat. The shoutouts to the old school Duke 3D maps are pretty funny too.
Most of the enemies are still there but you've also got the Dukebots, and Duke Clones, and it's pretty cool fighting the Duke Clones because they repeat Duke's quotes and sometimes they purposely glitch them out and their voice pitch gets screwed up, or they say the quotes incorrectly.
The new weapons aren't too great. If you were expecting the Expander to be like the classic one, then you can stop expecting that. The Impregnator seems to be pretty strong, but it's not very amusing, the Expander is still a lot better. The new MP maps & game modes are cool too. Note: You won't see servers that are hosting DLC content in the server browser at all, until you buy the DLC.
If you didn't like the original DNF campaign, you might like this, MIGHT. If you did enjoy the DNF campaign, you WILL enjoy this, and you should definitely grab it if it's on sale. I don't think it's worth the full price.
It just feels somehow that the developers had more fun creating this DLC. I suspect that's because the original DNF campaign had been the same throughout the whole 12 years of development, so they got bored and just wanted to release it already.
Note: This DLC will make your game take longer to load, even if you are not loading a DLC SP or MP map.
