A very nice and funny puzzle game: Stretch dogs as long and around edges as you like, but don't forget to feed them. And as you want to be a good master, get all the extra ham for you good dog ;) The difficulty is increasing nice and slowly, so you keep being motivated to solve the next puzzle. Some minor critic: The music is all the same for all levels, but as you are concentrating on solving the puzzles, you don't pay much attention to it. Every fifth level there is a bonus level, but you are first presented the level selection screen, and always on the first page. So you have to switch pages again and again after level 25. I also miss a menu item for quitting, so you have to press ESC to be able to quit the game. It's a perfect game for in-between and works perfect on Linux!

Bleh. All I can say is that this game is pretty bland. It’s basically Flow, or any numberlink game you have played before, but without any strict rule that you have to fill the entire board. The goal is to get every dog called a “pupper” to their respective dog food bowl. There are some meat bits you can come across for a chance to get 3 stars or “hearts'' in each level. However, once you pick up the meat bits, you can’t go back, the pupper has to stay hovering over the meat bit in order to actually pick it up. I’ll be honest, I practically gave up on the last level, and had to look up a guide for it to complete it. Also since this is the Switch version we’re talking about, once you complete the final level regardless of how many hearts you got, the game straight up crashes before getting to the ending screen. I've already beaten all the levels on the Nintendo Switch before, and at the time of buying this game for my Switch, it... kinda made it on the "top rated" page for a short time somehow. Well then. At least it's only 5 bucks, so... Strangely enough, even if the game crashes on the Switch after beating the final level, on PC it kinda works flawlessly.

Is it a cute game with puppers? Yes. Is it a good puzzle game? Eh... While the puzzles do work, and some of the mechanics feel unique, the game makes it very clear that it is a port of a mobile game: 3 star scoring system for levels, clearly optimized for touch screen controls, no "Quit" button on the home screen, etc. That's not fundamentally a bad thing, in this case it leaves the game with a general sense of unpolish. My biggest gripe is that every 4 levels you're returned to the level selection screen, even if you've unlocked the fifth level by getting all 3 stars on the previous ones. This means every 4 levels you have to scroll back through the pages of levels to go to the next as it always puts you pointed to the first level. The music is on the edge of being annoying where I'll leave it on for a while, then mute it. I'll leave this review as positive as the tunnel and water stream mechanics make for unique puzzles. In many cases you have to form and re-form the lines to complete the levels, which I haven't encountered in similar puzzle games. However a lot of the appeal of the game is that it has dogs. Few of the levels really felt challenging, and throughout the 80 levels, I never really got a feeling of satisfaction upon completing a level, due largely to the things outlined above. It is a passable puzzle game, but if you're looking mainly for a puzzle game rather than a game with dogs, give this one a pass. I wouldn't pay for this. It's better suited as a mobile game. The levels don't get increasingly hard, they're just grouped up in 5's and it's random as to which one is the hardest one. Level 13 could be just as hard as level 76. Some of the harder levels involve multiple solutions which I think is great, but I don't know, I just didn't love it. At least it's only $5?

The puzzles are rather generic. Not terrible, but not great. Feels like a minigame from Prof Layton, rather than a standalone puzzle game. (I played this more than 15 min, offline.)

Colourful wormhole dogs meet ham on an island accompanied by classical Waltz music. That's about it. If you like it, you get what you want ;) Seems more like something for the Smartphone though.

A very relaxing puzzle game with no real pressures to deal with. Just have to get all the hams collected and the dogs to their end spaces. Easy to undo moves to try different ones.

6/10 Get all the snake puppers to their food bowls. What is it: A snake-inspired puzzle game. In each level there are between one and 4 puppies that can grow and shrink, and the goal is to get each puppy to a bowl of the same color as the puppy, optionally eating all of the hams spread on the floor. The posterior of the puppy doesn't move, only the head does, growing or shrinking the body to cover all the tiles the head has been on. Other mechanisms used are aforementioned hams that must be collected, but these are optional and influence how many stars are awarded for each level, "wormholes" that go underground and teleport the head from one tile to another, and conveyor belts that automatically move the puppy along in one direction. I liked a decent part of the levels, though not all, since the mechanics are interesting and can make up some clever puzzles. However, this is an outdated mobile game with very few QoL features that would make it suitable for a PC or the Steam Deck. Some of the raster graphics are low-res and look pixelated/blurry when mixed with the vector ones, the animations often end up in a loop or are mistimed, it works best with a mouse/finger and barely with a keyboard, and almost no settings. How hard is it: Easy to moderate. Only one level gave me some trouble, since it was more like a maze you could get lost into than a thinky puzzle requiring logic. Most of the levels are on the easy side, one in every 5 levels is harder and has an achievement associated with it. No level skipping, but multiple levels are open at a time. How long is it: 80 levels for about 2-3 hours of playtime. Level design: Decent overall, but not impressive, many I felt were pedestrian. Quality: Average. Decent puzzles. Mixed experience depending on what you're playing with, from not-working on a keyboard, decent with a finger, almost there with a controller. Undo only works on a controller, but it's a weird kind of undo where you're just shrinking the currently selected dog, not a true global undo, so the same can be achieved by simply shrinking it manually. The keyboard controls are not explained, not rebindable, and make no sense on a keyboard since they use ABXY like on a controller. Almost no settings, decent achievements, no cloud saving, buggy animations. Worth the price: Wait for a big discount. Most positive aspect for me: The conveyor belts make up good puzzles where you have to keep on growing and shrinking to make stops along the belt. Most negative aspect for me: The maze levels where you have to find out the right sequence of wormholes. Also consider: Handshakes, growing and shrinking arms. Room to Grow, snake-inspired game with ever growing limbs. Trans Neuronica, advanced numberlink with a lot of tracing and retracing paths. It ended up having more variants in the puzzles than I thought, which is great. It really is a fun, colourful, well thought out puzzle game. Some levels I had to think and move pups a lot to get the solution, others are very easy. There is no tutorial or words but the levels are clear enough for you to work out what to do. Achievement hunters - all achievements are to get 3 hearts on each level. Just pick up every ham bone in level to get 3 hearts, then get your pup to eat out of his colour co-ordinated bowl to finish level. There are no timers (thankfully) and one dog can get all bones, not every dog has to get a bone. There are 80 levels it has a level map. Although there is no undo button if you click on your dog you can undo your moves. There is a mute button for sounds and music but no slider. On some levels you have to make multiple small temporary moves from another pup to get the original pup into the right position, those were my favourite levels. I wish there were a lot more levels but just because I loved the fun game, and I hope they make many more puzzle puppers sequels. edit - cards were added after I finished, which took ages to drop, I think my true playing time in total was nearer to 3.5 hrs. N.B It is currently available for free at app store so it's overpriced. I'm not sure if this is a mobile port or they were released here and app at same time.
