Words cannot describe how any more than -5 Dollars is not worth playing this game.
Seriously, you'd have to pay me to play this again.
The story makes no fucking sense. The plot line is strung together loosely with vaguely connecting events that just barely make enough sense to be able to call this a "STORY"
It goes like this: Doc Clock tapes together a toaster, fridge, and grill to make a "Toasted Sandwich Creator". Somehow using this amalgamation of kitchen appliances turns his beloved, cheese-ball monster of a cat turn in to a cactus, only for him, instead of fixing the problem (Which his overly nihilistic, Edge-lord partner "SACK" Acknowledges is stupid. Oh yeah, ill get to that later..)
Doc Clock makes a time machine to go back in time to stop himself from activating the machine, but instead he goes 2 thousand years in the future, where the word was taken over by stupid robots that "Solved global warming" With, and i quote
"A big fridge" that turns half the planet in to ice, then it's destroyed by doc clock who somehow gets encased in ice, only to thaw out another 100 years later to see the world is a volcano world from mario, and then finally after fixing his stupid time machine he goes back to his lab, and the game ends.
That's just the story, the gameplay and dialogue is something else.
I'll start with what's easiest,
Doc Clock is patrick star if you gave him a lab-coat, blue hair gel and night-vision goggles. He's cartoonishly stupid in a very non-charming way, and it comes across as laughable, not because its funny, but because it's pathetic.
His partner, "SACK", Yes their name is quite literally sack. Is one of the biggest pricks in gaming,
They tried to make him the Fourth wall breaking, snarky partner, but they're just a complete asshole.
And do not even get me started on this fucking gameplay, i've seen roblox obbys more enthralling than this game, really.
The game revolves around, well, the first part, solving puzzles by placing objects in elaborate ways (also known as. Press a button with a fridge.) Until the third level where the game goes in to "Build your own car and drive it" for the entire game.
It's frustrating. Oh my god is it frustrating.
This short, less than.. eh, 2 hour game, took 15 hours to beat. Why? Because everything was fighting me.
Making the vehicle is fucking obnoxious, you have to place things down somewhat delicately to get a good result but you have to do it while gravity is involved, so simply putting wheels on the hull requires a stupid amount of timing to get right. And on top of that, you have to rebuild your car every 2 minutes, you have to move shit around, way too often until the very end when you're granted enough propellers to just move your vehicle around.
It's not even done in a smart way, there's NEVER a scenario where its not the best strategy to slap all the parts on to a plank of wood and go, even though the GAME TELLS YOU THE OPPOSITE.
Spikes literally make your vehicle CRUMBLE, your dipshit scientist can't swim, falling from any more than 3 meters makes him eat shit and die on the pavement,
frankly, the Time travle back mechanic feels like a cop out for Shitty game design, the devs KNEW you'd never finish the game if it didn't basically have built in save-states.
everything about this game sucks. it was a waste of 15 hours that felt like 50,
My mom paid for this game when i was 10. i still feel ripped off.

Pros:
- Half-cynical humour provided by your bag.
- Fun to fly around once you get the parts to do it.
Cons:
- Physics can be unpredictable.
- You can get "locked" in place by the environment.
- If you fall a few feet too far you die.
The back-wind-mechanic is pretty much /unstuck since you will no doubt again and again be wedged between different objects, get knocked over by one of your wheels, fall down somewhere, have your vehicle roll of a cliff because you're too slow to go after it...
Putting the vehicle together is a pain as the arm can't quite place them as you'd want - the physics doesn't allow you to place wheels underneath the seat. For short, the developer solution was that you can theoretically put everything "inside" the seat, with just a bit sticking out, and it will still work.
The game took about 2 hours for me to beat, and then there was a lot of stubborn-ness in not wanting to rebuild the vehicle, since it's always a pain.
It had great promise and was enjoyable to some extent (thus why it was finished to the end) but all of the hassling around the physics makes me not able to really recommend the game. Took me a week to beat it since I couldn't stand playing it for too long at a time.
Played "casually", one level or so at a time or 10 minutes at a time... sure. You can save and quit at any point. Just don't expect an all-over enjoyable experience.

While this puzzle adventure game is cute, it suffers from a lot of rough mechanics.
I only played a few levels, but I had objects get trapped inside of other objects or the environment several times. The rewind mechanic is in theory robust, but it doesn't checkpoint consistently - several times I loaded back only to be in the middle of a puzzle, out of reach of a physics object, or even worse, in the middle of a physics plane, resulting in me falling through the world entirely.
I'd love to see this game get a little more TLC. I can't recommend it in its current state.

I don't understand the mostly negative reviews, so I am here to correct it.
It's a fun little goofy game that I enjoyed my time with if I have nothing better to do.
Yes, it's a little slow phased but that's find for the kind of game it is. It's more or less a sandbox puzzle kind of idea where you are free to design some wonky crazy contraptions and cars to go through obstacles like high ledges, gabs, spikes, etc.
It's the kind of game you would play on a boring holiday whilst the blizzard storm rustles the trees outside.
Although I got this game within a humble bundle for like a dime, so I guess that makes it worth it. But $5 though? Ehhh I'm not too sure about that one, chief.

I can't say anything new that others haven't said already.
It's a product of it's time, and a great concept for a series that could go places if all it's issues were taken care of. Unfortunately, it's little more than a children's puzzle game now, and a frustrating one at that.

Surprisingly not as bad as it looks in other reviews, but does not meet the bar of a good game either. It's a clunky, but somewhat interesting indie concept, so try it if you're absolutely bored and have no other games to play (which is unlikely the case in 2023).
"Interesting idea" is the only reason I'm giving it a 'positive' review, assuming you can always get always get a refund if you dislike the game.

I got this game way back in the olden times of 2010 and decided to give it another go. While the game has a quirky charm to it, the controls and interface feel frustratingly clunky. It's not that they don't work, they just feel unnatural to use, like eating noodles with a spoon.

Nice idea, horribly executed. The game plays and looks like a mediocre Newgrounds title and its core mechanic doesn't work that good at all. Its worst feature is in my opinion the music, which is horribly "composed" and sounds even worse than General MIDI.
Do yourself a favour and avoid this game at all costs!

This game was sitting in my library for years. Eventually, I gave in to boredom and, with hesitation, decided to play through it.
The gameplay is all about combining parts, which are mostly found at the beginning of each level, to create machines that will get you around obstacles such as chasms, hills and deadly spikes. It's easier than it might sound, the machines I came up with were all small variations of the same vehicle. If they failed to cross an obstacle on the first try, I rewound time and tried again until they succeeded. The design of the vechicle had little significance and no outside-the-box thinking was required to complete any level. I feel no sense of accomplishment.

Please, Please No. - Seriously, No.
This game is terrible (such so that I have it in a folder named "Terrible" for which is was the first game to be placed into). Its an amazing game in concept that I would love to give the chance to be great...if it could manage to do that. Its a piece of garbage that is thrown together into a contraption that just barely manages to reach its goal (oh wow, I totally just explained the entirety of the gameplay)
Is it a cool idea, yes. Is it a fun game, ...hard to say because its basically unplayable. Several times has this game refused to work...or has done something so ...wrong I can't fix it even with the included time rewind. Imagine Prince of Persia: Sands of Time with its time rewind except instead of being a game mechanic that is cool and awesome its a tool used to make sure that if you break the game you can rewind to when it wasn't broken. Like...you can rewind time...which is ONLY used to fix mistakes either you or the game has made.
There are some levels I remember playing that I don't know what to do on, the goal is obviously there, but no meaningful solution is there to reach it. Most the time, I just tried to get as many flying items as I could to strap to myself to fly over everything so I wouldn't have to deal with the terrible game.
Finally, I know in full well that I did not beat this game and so I cannot honestly say my review has full credible weight...but I did give it a good try, I wanted this game to be fun and work.. knowing full well it could be bad. I was let down, I write this in hopes that you are not let down. I would say.. perhaps plead with you to not get this. Its not a bad game, its unplayable.
