Nice business game. You have to satisfy the customers that are coming and the monkeys to earned points. There is an goal level and an expert level. Prepare juice, chill the cocktails, give coconuts,ice-creams and add lemon to go through. In the meanwhile you can blow up fireworks for the entertainment of the customers. liked the game and still in process of completing the achievements.

Katy and Bob Way Back Home isn't a bad game, but it really isn't that good either. There are better restaurant/time management games, buy one of those instead.

The Katy and Bob series is your basic time-management restaurant/cafe game, set on a tropical island, where you're trying to make a successful business by serving customers their orders quickly, and upgrading your equipment. This isn't dissimilar from the kind of fare you find for mobile games, just this one's on PC. IF you can get it on a good sale, it's worth trying once. This version also features a mini-game that you can play. At the time of this review (35 minutes) I'm nowhere near done with playing, but, it's pretty much similar to other games in their series. So yeah, it's an okay game.

I have mixed feeling about this game. I loved the game play and found it challenging without feeling like rage quitting. The story line was fun and the characters were cute. I played all the way to the end. The game froze on me a bunch, however, and on the last level, it simply froze and kicked me so there was no real ending to the game. I have seen other reviews which this has happened in as well. It can leave a gamer feeling quite unfulfilled. That was really the biggest downfall to this game. I am hoping there is not the same problem in the rest of this series. Because of the freezing issues, I would not necessarily recommend this particular game since there are many other time management games, but there are many very good reviews so maybe it only happens to a few of us players.

Very good time management game, it has the difficulty and the style that one would seek in a game like this. It could include an endless mode that would make it better.

If you want something that's like Diner Dash, this can scratch that itch. It's a little different in that you don't seat people and you bring people specific items instead of just one silver tray, but I would say the core gameplay is pretty much the same. It gets you into the same loop where you are quickly running around trying to serve customers before they get too pissed off and leave. I will say, however, that people in this game barely have any patience! I only had people actually leave a handful of times, but I often had people in the red, so you really have to make sure to keep an eye on everyone. Or maybe I just suck at this game LMAO. Sometimes the game will decide to crash when you click "replay" if you pause in the middle of a level and try to start over, but the game is easy to boot back up as if nothing happened. I'd say this happened maybe 20% of the time that I hit the "replay" button. A bit annoying, but this game takes like 3 seconds to start up, so it's not the end of the world. Also, when I finished the last level, I got the achievement saying I beat all of the levels and then the game crashed. If there was an ending comic scene like they had been doing throughout the game to tell their little story, I didn't get to see it (although I don't care about these people at all so I'm not really upset, sorry Katy and Bob). I experienced no crashing during actual gameplay though and the crashes I had when trying to restart a level didn't happen every single time. I got this game on sale for 74 cents. It's definitely worth that. The game is worth a couple bucks. What you see is what you get. Check the game out if you're desperate for something like Diner Dash like I was.

Enjoyable! It's nice to pay one price and not have to deal with ads and micro transactions like you find on similar phone apps. Cute story, not intrusive, but present enough to add interest. Would recommend if you like this style of game.

The game frost and close at the last level, "THE LAST LEVEL", just as I finish the last customer the game immediately frost and close, didn't get to actually finish the game. i try to replay the last level multiple time with no success. I was giving a positive review before but now i give big fat thumb down This is actually a 2012 game, the graphic is pretty good for a 2012 game. It's just a typical restaurant game with some differences, still a fun game tho, I like they use Katy and Bob as main characters to make the game more memorable. However, there is some minor problem such as when you carrying two items and you want to add on something to one item it will sometime add to the wrong one.

Fun little game just to play to pass time, mini game doesn't really work as it won't register the clicks on the certain fruit even when it's highlighted. Also crashes for some unknown reason almost every couple of levels. Worth 39p though. For £4 though, not so sure. They definitely nailed it in their later games though, so that counts for something.

Nice game but if you have tutorial disabled, like most experienced players would, steam achievements don't drop. And Day 2 becomes impossible to pass.
