I want to start my review with a question... How do you start a new game? I mean, even uninstalling and reinstalling starts you right where you were in the game before you erased it... so...
___
PROS:
Active devs. They made my "con-list" half the size since I bought the game by fixing things the community needed fixed.
Gorgeous graphics. Their "Advanced Graphics" tab USED to be called "GTX 1070".
Performance. I have a 1070, but I get 100 fps on maxed graphics without vsync.
STORY. So far, I'm intrigued. There are obvious plot points that are blocked off because it's early access, but the story that is there is promising and unique.
Fantastic character customization. Not only is it aesthetic, but the game encourages you to find hidden accessories by making certain "combinations of clothing" supply you with perks. AKA, beenie+boxing gloves = more melee damage.
"Starting over". Similar to how many platformer games have an INSTANT respawn upon failed attempt, you're able to REWIND time, for about 5 seconds. So, if you miss jumps, you don't have to run all the way back. And considering it's not too long, and requires battery (aka life points), it comes with it's limitations.
CONS:
Now, Combat and parkour mechanics are in the con list, but they won't be for long. Here's why.
Combat USED to be very annoying, because (spoiler) you fight bugs and rats and even wasp creatures. Though, swinging your sword/weapon doesn't stop while hitting them. You'll damage them, but go right through them, so you have to turn ALL THE WAY AROUND to hit them again. They've temporarily patched this already by increasing combat sensitivity, so instead of having to do 180 degrees every 2 seconds in combat, you can just constantly turn and swing and become a tornado of death.
Parkour was never "annoying," but it wasn't/isn't very polished. There is plenty of snapping, and it's made easy for the time being. They just rolled out a patch where it polishes it a little, getting rid of awkward moments between animations while climbing something vertically, making it quicker and increasing the games enjoyment over-all.
___
I'm very much looking forward to this game, but I will not be continuing it until I figure out how to start a new game. For recording, it's common to play a few minutes to see if the game will be good, (which I think it is) but now I'm stuck 15 minutes into the story without any way of showing my viewers the beginning. I'm sure there's a way, I just can't find a way, whilst actively looking for it, so making that more prominent would be nice.

To be honest this game was trash
But after the latest Update It was playable and fun.
Before the update it took what felt like hours to get out of the basement, kept falling through the map , couldnt climb on anything
Now:
I can move around easily without out falling through the map and (for lack of a better word) invisible walls climbing walls Now it was so fun once I got to the end of what has been made I couldnt wait for more
The survival was my favorite part Because It was a fun way to do a tower defence and was great how theey integrated in the main story
Overall Id give it a 8/10 I feel like im being too nice but thats how I feel

Please fix the controller support. It's terrible. I'm using an Xbox 360 controller. It's the de-facto controller for use on PC's, and it doesn't work with your game or even with the help of Steam's magical controller configuration. I hate using a keyboard and mouse for games, and it's extra terrible in a platformer.
I had to request a refund, which is very unfortunate because of the scarcity of quality 3D-action platformers. I'd love to repurchase this if the controller issue is fixed and works well.
On a positive note, the game seems to perform very well in Linux with Steam Play. I would love to see a Linux-native version.

I don't know why, but I don't think this game is suitable for me. although in terms of graphics it's pretty good, but honestly from the gameplay I don't like it. I think the game is too difficult. I don't know, I don't really recommend this game to play, especially new gamers like me. I'm so sorry.

Ok this game might be a year old but i recently came across this little gem. Tyler: Model 005 is a 3D platformer with a, unique approach to the game You are a tiny robot the size of spiders and insects, Instead of your regular platform life system they implanted a dual life system, you must find light to keep your battery charged or you die or you must keep your battery from damage from spiders, ants, bees and others insects hitting you or you will die.
But never fear unlike other 3D Platformers where if you lose a life you go back to the start, no no checkpoints are saved so you do not lose all the hard work. A perfect fit for those looking to chill out and not stress about anything.

[*] As you guys know i am a big fan of graphics and assets.Well this game delivers giving you that 1900's retro style around the house while remaining to make you'r robot futuristic, It fits neatly Into the game style.
[*] The storyline is another pro in my opinion, if you actually follow(sometimes it gets confusing) it's interesting to say the least, most of the storyline is told through the main missions, but there is hidden flashbacks to find that will give you more to the story than meets the eye.
[*] The main character Tyler customisation is another pro, Gives you something else to push for, as there is upgrade parts, that increase your battery capacity, attack damage speed and a few more. Also you get combo cards, when you combine certain accessories, ie wings horns etc it will give you a passive, including extra damage and more
[*] Achievement hunter's rejoice another game that you can get all the achievement's in a single play through.
[*] Price point is on point for this game i got it on sale at -80% off and what a bargain! Would definitely pay full price for the content that you receive.

[*] My main complaint would be the control's, they are clunky and outdated. I never used a game controller. I use keyboard and mouse, and there is no option to change it . Which can be a pain, For instance if you double tap "W" you will roll/evade this comes a problem when you also need to stay on a fan that moves and pushes you back so you if you push "W""W" to fast to stay on the fan you will roll off anyway. Another problem is the hold space to climb sometimes it does not identify making you fall once again.
[*] The game was a bit short to be fair, you could probably speed run through it super quick if you did not want to get all the collectables.
[*] The story ending was a bit of weird one/let down but is there going to be another one Reversed Interactive have released a game every year around the end the end of august and i have yet to hear anything, plus there website is down meaning will we not get the next part to the story?

To Summarize it's a unique platformer worth the pick up even at full price the indie developers did good.

The game felt promising and I was actually excited to try this game out. I played it for a while but the clunky controls turned me off. What seems like the simplest platforming challenge turns into few hours of going back and foward and kills the overall fun.

I was hoping to see a glimpse of something like 'Unravel', but the game is pretty much unplayable/no fun in its current state. Confusing camera, bad/boring combat mechanics, climbing is much more difficult than it should be, the spiders kinda look dull, weird and annoying faux RT reflections, voice acting is not great, it's often not clear what you need to accomplish or do, no puzzles that require some thinking,... I can't imagine that someone would actually like this game enough to keep playing and finish it.

I bought this as an early access but I tend to hold off on actually playing the game until it's fully released. I take the risk in that as I still have a few that have been in my inventory for years. This way I tend to buy it on a discount and then get to experience a finnished product. I found this game to be cute and fun, and at $10 it's more than worth it. It has a few flaws or maybe I'm just flawed but even on easy mode the survival game I didn't survive even with the best items 4th wave always beat me because I couldn't get and refill on my life points. I rarely care about collectibles but for some reason I found myself wanting to get them all. This really is a fun game, I took my time exploring every area and wondering how the f. do I get up there so there is a bit of puzzle work withing the environemnt that is a challenge. I sometimes wanted to throw the computer after I fell from these areas or it accidently auto rolled and had to restart my climb.

I enjoyed this game and at its price felt it was worth the money.
Pros:
*I liked the characters and the voice acting.
*The dynamics were interesting. Climbing, combat against bugs and wall walking. I do not usually play platform games but this one was so different than most, I decided to give it a shot and was very pleased.
*Graphics are amazing.
Cons:
*I found limited information on the game and with no Controls menu, it was frustrating until I figured things out. Had to read patch notes to get some of the information and I doubt most gamers would go that far.
Sooooo.....I created a guide for the Hub to list the controls and game tips that I found were helpful for me in the hopes others won't be frustrated at the start of the game. Once you understand the mechanics, the game is a lot of fun.
*Do all the combo cards really give you extra powers? Only two I found of use was the Ninja with the dual blades and BoxBoy (hidden combo card) with his automatic Tesla zap but maybe I was missing something. A dev really needs to explain these cards in one spot to help players understand & if they do nothing, should be fixed.
