Tedious progression and forced repetition = negative reviews. On top of that partners, the way you get them and how they are limited. Feels harder than it should be.

I wasn't going to post this review because the game already has mixed ratings, but then I learn that there was a permanently missable item if you choose the "wrong" dialogue option with the frog in the first 10 seconds of the game.

I just started this on PC hence the low game time. I've completed it 100% on Switch a couple of times and love the game. It's simple, cute, and super fun. It was made almost entirely by one guy. No one should be hating on this thing. It's awesome. It is oozing with care and attention to detail.
