Slow space combat RTS that focuses on long term planning rather than micro. Probably the best of its niche.

great game but at time the campaign might feel a littel overwealming

Its like the tabletop, so great to play the bnattles, but the storyline economy is poorly made. recommend for sure if you like naval combat.

a nice what if campaign with lots of lore woven in a more galactic scale view of 40k and the combat is pretty good

Very niche, only play if you want to play an RTS about spaceships, recommend Skalgrim mod gamechanging. I started playing this game little by little as I am very busy with work now and could play like 1-2 hours per week or day, so this game felt very grindy mainly cuz I just wanted to play with starships for a bit, but I like ending what I start so I finally ended the game and while playing I felt like wanting to end it asap so I could move up to another game but after ending it after so much time IRL, I will miss Admiral Spire and his fleet, this game barely has story compared to more story focused games but I loved the voice acting, he felt like a hero of the imperium and inspiring. "Then we are returned not a moment too soon, Navigator, chart a course to the Cadian System we may be an age too late to join the battle but revenge still within our grasp; This is admiral Spire rally at my coordinates, this isn't over" - Admiral Spire at the fall of Cadia

As a game, its simple but very satisfying, with a surprising variety of different strategies required to thrive. The difficulty spike in some of the boss encounters is pretty staggering, but that's fine. As a 40k fan it definitely tickles my fancy, though even if I wasn't it would still be a lot of fun: it plays kinda like the old heroes of might and magic titles except with real time battles and space themeing.

Good game. I wish the control of weapon systems was more detailed like actually being able to fire the lasers, torpedoes or cannons.

The game is incredibly fun, of course you need to be passionate of the warhammer universe. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the game as of now for the multiple crashes that makes playing impossible. I can't even go past the main menu, and if I have multiple screens the UI resolution does not match what your cursor is clicking. A shame because it could easily be one of those evergreen titles that you regularly go back to.

Game unplayable (constant crashes, even using fixes found on forum) on system more than powerful enough. Quite annoying, I see why it has been on sale for so cheap lately. If you have a system anywhere near modern specs don't buy it expecting it work.

Game is broken sadly. If you have an even remotely recent CPU game will random CTD. Known bug that they swore they fixed but it is still present, do not buy.
