It turned out to be a pretty good game. Easy in the beginning, and keeps getting tougher and difficult as we keep going forward.

This is a classic platformer themed after Santa Claus. I bought it as part of a bundle for the equivalent of 30 cents, and sure, I feel like I received my money's worth. I have young nephews and I think this would be a good candidate to start them off with, just to become familiar with the general concept and typical controls. And the idea of Santa is familar enough and benign enough that it's appropriate for 5- or 6-year-olds. All the other sentiments about the crashing ending are true. The game seems to have been abandoned after maybe a dozen levels (some of which are pretty piss-poor by platformer standards, by the way), then released. I find that simply a shame. But so it goes. Who knows who the developers were, and what happened? I sure don't.

I bought this game as a fun game to stream for Christmas. At first it was cute however the music gets old very quickly, the controls are clunky and the sound affects horrible. You can't mute just the music which is annoying, I ended up finishing the last part of the game with no sound. When you do finish the game there is no credits, just a black screen with snow flakes. I would not reccomend this game, I do not feel that it was worth the dollar I spent.

I beat this game in about 10 minutes gg pretty spicy, the game ends by crashing and then silent snowfall on a black screen

Played this game with my 40 year old son to help him regain the spirit of Christmas. He loved it! Despite being one of the most challenging games we've played in years (hardest since Presidential Paintball 2008), we couldn't get enough. Wish it was a couple hours shorter though, since me and my son missed his mother's funeral because we were so enraptured with the game! Love you, xoxo

Idk why there's some people giving the game bad reviews, this game is a masterpiece and every other review is wrong and based. The game tells a compelling story of Santa who has lost all of his presents in a fatal accident with his sleigh that killed Rudolph, and this was on the day before Christmas. The other reindeer got so pissed at Santa for crashing the sleigh from drinking vodka that they all turn against him, and they also build a legion of frosty the snowmans to try to kill him. The gameplay is an epic battle against Santa's reindeer and the Frostys all while Santa tries to gather up the presents for the kids, and he takes the chimneys that warp him through time in space to get to other regions of the north pole. The song that plays in the background is a true masterpiece, probably because it was written by Beethoven back in the 1600s but no one actually knew about it. The ending of the game is a very good plot twist too, having the game crash at the end was something I didn't see coming and was a very cinematic end to this enriching tale. 6/5 stars worth every 2 quarters I spent

Santa's Big Adventure's is one of the best games of the 2010's, nay, of all time. The controls are fantastic, the story is absolutely thrilling from start to finish, and the characters are so lovable that every death was really impactful. The game is also very immersive. I really felt like I was Santa, which made every fight that much stressful. The graphics look so realistic I'm honestly shocked they managed to get it to look so real. Every one of Santa's hairs is rendered to an unbelievable degree of detail, and the environment is filled with so many secrets you will find new secrets with every new playthrough. I already have 10 hours in this game and I predict I will have many more in the months and years to come. My favourite moment of the game was the end (SPOILERS). The last level has a message which is Santa's final heart wrenching message before his death. In his dying breath he states, "Right click to add text", and then he, along with the rest of the game dies. This scene is incredibly sad as throughout the game you get so attached to Santa, you really feel like hes right there with you. When he dies and utters those final words I know I, an many others, shed a tear. Overall I would give Santa's Big Adventures 9/10 Santa's I just wish there was more Santa's in the game

I use this game exclusively as a Standalone Flash Player on Steam, that has a native Linux version. If you press Ctrl+F and then Ctrl+O, you get to open any Flash SWF in it, as long as it's compatible with Adobe Flash Player 11,2,202,442 (which, it most likely will be), you're golden. I use it mostly to play the Linux Humble Store version of The Binding of Isaac+Wrath of the Lamb.

Santas Big Adventures is a platforming game aimed at kids and casual players. I think it aims for that demographic hoping it’s lazy level design, lazy music and lazy everything else can go unnoticed or forgiven. It's a bad game that no matter how cheap it's priced at is not and will never be worth it. This is a lazy cash grab just in time for Christmas.
