Take the plunge and explore five paintings from beyond the canvas, as if you were the artist when the work was being created. Feels similar to the free title "Night Cafe" from several years ago. Here you get five pieces of art to explore versus just one... though each experience is stationary - no walking around exploring. Which I would've loved to see, particularly in Starry Night - the warm lights in the windows throughout that town down the hill were calling to me, but I couldn't get there! Maybe some day we'll get a DLC! Until then, this is still certainly worth two bucks. Thumbs: UP!

One of the best VR experiences for art. Such a novel and amazing concept. It's a shame this hasn't been updated. Would love more experiences like this, it makes you see art in a new light.

Very creative take on classical paintings. Adds new emotion and context to the works. I'm planning to share this with older members of the family to demonstrate VR to them, but is appropriate for most ages. There is mild nudity if that matters to you, although nothing more than what was in the original works. I hope the authors create new works. I would quite happily support more than the original asking price (currently $2 USD until it goes free next year) for this, more for more content.

Lots of fun! A novel way to explore famous paintings. You may have seen the Van Gogh bedroom before, but this lets you step into five different paintings like never before. Highly recommended!

Stunning. I'm looking forward for more paintings. I would pay more for high quality like this. I think starry night is the best so far. I always liked this painting but seeing the vista in vr changed my whole perspective. And now even when I watch the original painting it feels like my own dream. Somehow this app incorporated artists or maybe even developers own feelings about pieces. I love everything about it. I've shown this to my mom and she was basically in tears.

This is the future of art appreciation. In this very interesting application one actually enters the paintings. The 2 standouts are the MonaLisa and Starry Night. In Mona Lisa , she actually smiles at you. You can walk right up to her and look around the room , and over the terrace. The Starry Night is alive with movement, quite fabulous and a must for any Van Gogh fan.

A masterpiece. It belongs to the ages. I only wish the development company would do another project. I'll pay real money if they do. Natty

Since the world was "shut down" due to the pandemic crisis, probably a lot of us have missed not only the social gatherings but also all the cultural legacies - from theatre play to such a thing as sculptures, paintings or other forms of art. Virtual Reality technology was probably like a relief in all of that, through the possibilities of its use, not just for gaming, but also for more stimulating and intellectual things. "Art Plunge" is one of these VR creations, where instead of playing in some very demanding game, we are facing cultural and artistry legacy, without leaving our home environment. Instead of a casual game, once you put on your VR set - you end up in the gallery featuring 5 paintings you may choose from; Girl Reading a Letter, or Starry Night are just examples, same goes for the very famous worldwide Mona Lisa, which is also appearing and is possible to be "seen differently". You see: Once you choose the art in the gallery, you may view it from the inside, turn around the space created inside of the art, and expose yourself to all the details on a whole new level. I'll be honest here: While I adore Da Vinci's creations and the legacy he passed on to new generations, the moment when Mona Lisa was following my movement with her eyes was quite astonishing. As a result of the proportions of characters from paintings, the active environments, vibrant colours, and the sensation of space surrounding the player, we have ready even more enjoyable VR experience than we might imagine. "Art Plunge" is something you might spend your time with for like 20-30 minutes. It is about stopping for a moment, exploring the art and enjoying yourself just like during the "real" visit to the art gallery or museum. The only minus here is the fact, that there are just 5 paintings to interact with, and the possibilities of interaction itself are very limited. On the other hand with the price, size, quality and idea itself, it is worth buying on Steam and giving it a go. I don't regret any moment or a second spent in it - at all.

All I can say is WOW. I have been waiting forever for an artistic VR experience like this, and experiencing this was a real delight. Being actually inside the living and breathing world of a painting has always been a fantasy of mine, and this experience achieves it in full. Fantastic execution, design and graphics all round. This and the "Night Cafe" VR experience are among my all-time favorite immersive art experiences. I only wish it was longer and that there were more paintings to experience. Maybe also adding a slight bit of interactivity would have been nice. Also it would have been great if I had a slightly bigger margin of space to move around, but honestly this is an amazing work of VR art, developers. Thank you for this and I look forward to trying more of your work! I really hope more people review this amazing experience so that it gets the attention it well deserves!

Beautiful and well-done. Very short experience. I would pay much more for every painting to be an open-map to explore. It was worth the price to me, but I think it is no better than free art experiences released lately like The Scream. Worth full price for art lovers.
