Great game, I always play these sort of games on hight level, to get the most out of them, this does not mean YOU have to play it on high level, it's just MY way. graphics very good, not a short game, played 10 hours so far. sound good.
Good story.
Highly recommended.

This is a fun HO game. The plot is engaging, the HO scenes challenging, and the minigames fun.
This case centers around a very dark artifact that appears to have come from the Aztecs, so...
Worth the price.

I really enjoyed this game! Graphics were good, HO scenes weren't too cluttered and were fairly easy. Storyline was good and believable. Music was pleasant and voices well done. You tend to go back and forth in scenes, but there is a map which makes it easier. I played in normal mode (mid setting) and it took me 5 hours. It was one of those games that I didn't want to end. A hidden gem (forgive the pun!) as it is a better game than most HO on the market. 9/10. Highly recommend.

Thanks to an unconventional storyline about a chaotic family drama and some wonderful hidden object scenes, Blood Ruby is a great addition to the HOG genre, despite its tendency to overuse point ‘n’ click components.

Saving a relative is a common theme in hidden object games. Travelling back in time to end up in a murder investigation that eventually leads to a surprisingly messed-up and bloody domestic feud… well, that takes it several steps beyond expected levels.
Dark Cases: The Blood Ruby has more than just this memorable plot—or similarly memorable beautiful artwork, for that matter. It is a roughly three-hour joyride with some pacing bumps and a few outlandish elements, elevating its murder mystery far above similar casual detective stories.
Admittedly, the game relies on these elements to keep the players invested, because it is a bit too keen on relying on classic adventure game methods, including a perpetually overcrowded inventory. The hidden object scenes are great, but too few to turn The Blood Ruby into the truly unforgettable HOG masterpiece its story would deserve.
