as someone who loves the vampire kids episode this dlc is awesome to me. the new ally henrietta is amazing and the fight against "corey haim" was also very fun. *it's better to get the dlc on sale, the playthrough can be very fast depending on your play style and i'm sure it would feel better knowing you didn't spend much on it.

This DLC adds a brand new area for the game: Casa Bonita. You will join forces with Mysterion to help rescue his sister from the Vampire Kids by crashing their party. The New Kid will be given access to Mysterion's class: Netherborn. A powerful class that uses the power of darkness to defeat its enemies. It also has a unique Ultimate that enhances all your Netherborn powers. The new Class is pretty good for crowd control, and has one of the best powers in the entire game: Dire Shroud. This power behaves similarly to Call Girl's Phone Destroyer, being an ability that can target an enemy from far away, doing decent damage and applying Defence Down. Unlike Phone Destroyer, Dire Shroud can be used on allies, including the New Kid itselt. If used that way, It will provide a shield and the strongest health regeneration in the game, healing by 33% of maximum health per turn. You will also get a new Ally: Henrietta. A goth kid that has very powerful support abilities. Henrietta is basically Human Kite on steroids. She has a power that can hit multiple enemies while applying the Burning status. A power that can target an ally, giving them Attack Up, shield and removing negative statuses. Another power that can also be used on any ally, this time healing and providing an unique buff that will make that character deal damage around them at the end of their turn. This will also heal that character based on how much damage the buff did, which scales based on Status Effect Damage. And lastly, her Ultimate, which damages all enemies and heals all allies. Definitely one of the best allies in the game. Use the new class alongside Mysterion, Henrietta and Cartman to take on 9 unique enemy encounters against various kinds of vampires. This DLC scales based on how much Might you have, but the lowest value it can go is 500, so I recommend you go in there when you're around that amount, which you can reach around halfway through the game. However, the Netherborn class can be unlocked early on easily regardless of you much Might you have since the tutorial fight to unlock it is impossible to lose. This DLC also has: 10 new artifacts, with 6 of them being Epic. 1 new DNA. 4 new consumables. 27 new cosmetic items, most of them being hairstyles. 15 new Coonstagram friends. Including Cartman, who can't be friended in the base game. All of them can buff the Vainglorious Scepter Artifact obtained in the base game, making it give additional health. The music is pretty good. There's not alot since this DLC isn't that long, but what's there is good and fits pretty well. There's also some neat things, like having the only tutorial allowing you to do whatever you want, which can give you some unique dialogue if you don't do what Mysterion wants. There's a burrito that can make you crap to death if you don't go to the bathroom fast enough. You need to help Cartman in order for him to join your party, but if you don't help Cartman, he can be ignored completely for some funny dialogue, and you can complete the entire DLC without him. And there's an optional section where instead of Kyle helping you traverse it, it's Cousin Kyle that can help you out. As for the fights themselves... they're alright for the most part, although it's definitely the weakest aspect of the DLC, due to them being annoying. It focuses on glass cannon enemies, enemies that can revive, and enemies that can attack while healing themselves. The DLC is fairly short, and can be completed in around 2~3 hours. This is kind of a good thing in this situation since this makes the enemies not overstay their welcome. You will be buying this mostly for the new class and ally. But I gotta talk about the final boss in there. I'm not gonna spoil who it is, since it's funny, but man, this is the worst fight in the entire game. If you think having enemies that can heal themselves and revive others wasn't annoying enough, how about having a boss that also does the same? Yup. And if that wasn't enough, when the boss gets to half health, they will only revive enemies in a massive area and do nothing else for the rest of the fight. I think the developers themselves realised how boring of a concept this was, because it's the easiest fight to cheese in the entire game. All you need to do is defeat the 2 enemies that can attack from far away, then put the New Kid behind the conveniently placed tile on your side that can't be destroyed, then put Mysterion behind the New Kid. Mysterion will eventually die and turn into his ghost form and now the New Kid cannot get hit by any attacks, while you can still attack them. At least the boss does give you a new DNA, and a key item that buffs the Netherborn powers by 25%. Overall though, this is a good DLC, but it could have been much better. I'm at least glad that this DLC at least happened. The idea of fighting against vampires was something orginally planned for Stick of Truth, but then it got cut. This was then planned to happen in the base game of Fractured But Whole, and once again got cut. I may have issues with it, but I'm happy that at least it ended up being used. 6/10. Disclaimer: For this DLC, most of their rewards, when obtained, will also be available on the toy chest at your bedroom on new playthroughs right away. On those new playthroughs, if you own all the DLCs and their items, it will add an extra 1 minute and 20 seconds of your character just slowly grabbing everything if you decide to interact with that chest. It's also very buggy, it can give you extra copies of DLC artifacts, and can potentiallly even softlock yourself on that chest later in that playthrough with the game giving you infinite copies of everything, which can prevent you from getting some things from the base game later. On those new playthoughs, make sure to open this chest as frequently as possible to avoid this softlock.
