Abandoned by Croteam. No reason at all to play this garbage and bug ridden remaster/collection. The HD versions of Serious Sam and normal BFE are better version to play than this. Stay far away unless you plan on playing one of like the 5 total conversions. Don't belive me? How about a bug list? - The cannonball still bounces on enemies in close distance instead of piercing through them TO THIS DAY, after 8 years of being out. - The biomech minors cannot shoot you if you are right up against them - Collision is incorrect across the board with the AI (They all now clip through eachother) - Player movement/physics are more slippery than HD versions which were already slippery compared to the originals - The croteam secret in Hatshepsut in TFE is broken (They do not sing the croteam theme, and they do not sit at the end of path of Hatshepsut) - Pathfinding is more messy than the originals and HD, and this could be from the collision tweaks this game makes (i.e. Harpies and Werebulls easily getting stuck). - The talking Gnaar bug is back for some reason after being fixed in TFE HD - The Werebull hit box is not accurate to the actual position of the Werebull - Last weapon key barely works and somehow forgets what actual last weapon you were holding. - Kleers do not get stunned when shooting them with a single shotgun - Combat music can play forever sometimes - Gnaars and Kleers slide around A LOT (Werebull as well but not as much) - Tree collision is incorrect and you can walk through them - Enemy friendly fire either doesnt work or just works when it wants to If you're somehow thinking like the incel in the comments that the bigger battles make the bugs less noticeable, think again once you see 12 enemies clip through eachother just to get to you and your last weapon used key doesn't work correctly. Ignoring the issues doesnt keep them from existing or causing other people problems, it just makes you look like an idiot.

Good Game, but i have to complain: Why can i find the sniper rifle AFTER the level that CONTAINS harpies for doing the achievement requirement to take down 20 harpies with it??? And no thanks, I played nearly 30 times through the campaign to do those questionable tasks, also in Original SS3 BFE it's exactly the same issue with many achievements.

I got this when I purchased Serious Sam 3 BFE I'm pretty sure. So what the fuck is Serious Sam Fusion 2017 (beta)? Some unfinished thing that was too good to not at least let people have a glimpse into it? Something still in development? I have 0 clue which one of those two is correct but I do know this its apperantly meant to be a hub of some sort where you can play the original games as well as the new ones through this one. No need to download 4 different Serious Sam games, just play them all from a single place. Sounds great on paper but here's the issue: it only accepts *some* of the previous Serious Sam games. I own the originals, the originals are not included, only their HD remasters are. I own Serious Sam Classics Revolution which is essentially the same thing as this, a hub where you can play the older games through a more updated game but that only works for the original games. Essentially what I'm saying is, out of the older Serious Sam games, the First and Second Encounters, you can buy the originals or buy the HD remasters or buy the Classics Revolution or buy HD + Fusion 2017. If you buy the originals, you get the originals. If you buy the HD remasters you get the HD remasters. If you buy the Classics Revolution you get a game hub which can launch both of the classic games its just a lil more updated. For you to be able to play them on Fusion 2017 you need the HD remasters specifically + Fusion 2017 itself. It is simply not a good choice. Either buy the originals and play those or buy the Classics Revolution and play both of the originals through a single hub. Now if you don't own any Serious Sam games at all and you're wondering which one to buy then all these choices make sense in their own way but as someone who already owns the classics + Classics Revolution buying the HD remasters to play them or buying them just so Fusion 2017 can launch them makes 0 fucking sense for me. +Fusion 2017 is a hub where you can launch the specifically HD remasters of the first two games (First and Second Encounter) as well as Serious Sam 3 and its DLC, Jewel of The Nile I think it was called. Nice to be able to launch all these games from one spot. +This Fusion platform does offer some updates aside from the usual bug fixing there's a few that catches my interest like split-screen gameplay, smaller and faster save files (aren't they super small in the first place? oh well), controller support and while I don't think I saw it in the store page I think I read somewhere that apperantly thanks to the Fusion platform both console players and PC players can play in the same servers which is a nice addition if its true. -The games you can launch off of this Fusion platform are not only limited but very specific and as someone who already owns the classics and an another "platform" (Classics Revolution) it makes no sense for me to buy *another* version of the classics, the HD versions, just so I can play them (playing the classic games for the 3rd time now) or just so I can launch them off of this Fusion platform. At least you get Fusion 2017 for free when you buy any of the games it supports. I think. I'm not sure, I got it when I bought Serious Sam 3 BFE which is a game this Fusion platform supports so I imagine you'd get it for free if you bought any of the other games it supports. So its not too bad and for new people who don't own the classics, don't own Classics Revolution and who haven't played them, buying the HD remasters and getting the Fusion 2017 for free with them might be a good idea. For me, not so much so its a thumbs down from me. One thing I don't know is if its still in development or not, considering the title says "2017" and "beta" I imagine its either abandoned or stuck in development hell. Would have to check when the latest update was, I cannot be bothered, especially in this summer heat. Anyways bye.

Seems like the programmers were more worried about making the player jump SAM around on stairs, than having the player play the game.
